Thx for the reply Avan.
Though I have nfi how you got other players into a single player story instance ????

I guess I’ll just have to wait till a better spear guns drops, though it just seems stupid to make the recommended lvl for that part of the story 14then make it unwinnable at that lvl.

Would it make sense to make a Bank Alt/Trader Alt?

I use my alts as crafting alts as well as “handbags” (extra slots).
My two huner gatherers collect, my alts make me armour/jewellery, weapons/huntsman and artifacer/tailor.
After playing through a few races/occupations to see what I’d like I left my lvl 10-20s by crafting stations and have pushed on with my fav chars.

As has been mentioned already the game lets you get around all of this in one way or another so any alt chars you have (if you’r the type of player to leave ANY behind) then it’s up to you to use them in the way it suits best.

Is it me? Or is it hard to target in this game?

@Temper Indeed.
When I’m downed and fighting for life targeting always seems unlock the target that I was fighting and has me flinging dirt at otherwise unengaged targets drawing them in and sealing my fate

SPOILERS TO FOLLOW!!

Hey. Trying to get a Charr warrior through the main (loyal sire) story line and I’m stuck on the “Mired Deep” quest.
I am lvl 14 as recommended with a Malign Steam Speargun (150-166 +12 conditional damage) but when I fight the boss battle (veteran bog skale) even with three accomplises to draw agro I still can’t even scratch the dang thing. Health regen for the beast is insane.
Also all the regular bog skales I had to take out to get to the boss fight respawn while I’m still fighting and turn it into a massacre.

Can I ask if others have done this quest and was it this hard for you too?
Can anyone suggest a strat to take this sea munkey down? or do I just ignore the main quests till I lvl up a few (dozen) more times/find hadoken speargun?

thx.

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I thought I was just being KBkitten :P
I also find that with auto attack activated when I right click on a target my char will often stand and look at it without attacking. I don’t know if that’s tied to the targeting prob or something else.
Anywho I’m still enjoying this game like mad.
