In comparison to what I’ve seen this tier 30 isnt really a blob though :P
That could still be one guild.. A large one at that, but still a guild group.

It was a cold evening on Augury Borderlands… All our allied guilds had already called their raids and [Scnd] was the only one left badged up. We actually attracted a big number of friendlies. Then we saw some yellow swords and decided to check it out

At our highest tonight we had 18 people on. At those times, we were around 15 Scnd + any randoms that tagged along. We try not to use commander badge so we don’t attract these though

Are we still counting Sylas as a random? lol cause if so we should make it 16 Scnd

Yeap, It’s such a shame to just know the other is near when you see one of those two guilds.. Im pretty sure you both are decent guilds on your own.. you could achieve way more when you split up.

And about the skill lag, I personally am not experiencing it THAT bad… Maybe it’s because I’ve seen how it is in T2 (god that was awful… 20 sec delay at LEAST) but I can get my skills off just fine… And I play on a laptop, imagine that ;p

Well i’ve seen very little of the piken guilds I’m more familiar with (I’m aware a lot have gone elsewhere). Think I’ve seen [GG] once on Piken bl, we were running about 10 and shortly after starting [WvW] left the map leaving us on our own vs a 20+ (?) GG raid. GG are a great guild and it would have been a really, really tough fight with equal numbers, so it was just a mismatch really. We were a bit sloppy and slow to react to commander anyway on that day so … yeah, weren’t great fights from our PoV. (Having said that you were impressive in the manner you beat us, your pre-fight movement around cragtop was particularly impressive).

Yeah, I remember that, we had some good fights against a tonne of guilds that night. Dius, WvW, XxX, Hail, SNOW, Tohu, Sang, very very fun night. I remember when we killed you at Cragtop, and the first thing I said was, ‘for a 10-15 man raid, their melee train hits so kittening hard’, so respect to you guys We’ve had some good fights all during the week, tried so hard not to group with other guilds, sometimes assisted other guilds in the open if they’ve been heavily outnumbered, but if they’re winning, we usually leave them to it. Obviously inside Garrison, where it was that massive 3 way clusterkitten, we tried so hard to operate independantly, but its difficult when there’s so much lag, so many enemies, etc ^^ so apologies if we’ve ganged up on some of you guys this week, not how we like to play.

We don’t think we grew too much in the higher tier, we think 20-25 is enough to compete (Except against like 40+ ZDs) but we don’t want to adapt to that kind of playstyle anyway. Hoping to see you guys again this week, hopefully with you running similar numbers to us!

And yeah, we were 20 that night I think, with a few friendlies with us ^^

That melee train did hit hard.. got me nearly down But my memory is failing here.. which guild was that again?

oh and sorry for the extra numbers caused by friendlies tagging along with us.. Culling makes it hard to raid without badging up ;p

I am SO happy that we’re back to fighting AR and Gandara!

Im a female myself and I ONLY play WvW.. One of our main raid leaders is a female as well. Why I play WvW? The adrenaline rush you get when fighting off a 40 man zerg with your 15 guildies.. Oh and the kitten situations that make me fall off my chair while laughing my kitten off ;p

The thing is, the ques are bugged. It would really help if you could ‘see’ in what place you are in the que so you notice when it’s bugged. I don’t mind requeing.. but nowadays you dont know if the que is bugged or just really long.. Anyhow, Anet should really find a solution to at least make the ques more bearable if they are not able to make ’em shorter…

Just as Gandara doesn’t want to be given a bad name due to the indiscretion of the few, I think our Piken opponents deserve the same courtesy.

This. The Piken WvW community is against hacking and we will report it if we see friendlies (or enemies for that matter) do something like that.

Im having the same problem here… Guessing that it just takes a few mins before the client recognizes the new pw ;p

Same here. WvW here on RoF is absolutely NO fun. We’re up against way too overpopulated servers and our PvP guilds left. Even mine is thinking about leaving even though we are against server transfer. Just because of the fact that they managed to get a full PvP guild in PvE doing jumping puzzles because we can’t even get out of our spawn in WvW.

When we are clearly outnumbered (5 vs 15-20) while defending a camp and we still take down the zerg about 3-4 times.. Then I start to use /bow

This wouldn’t be such a problem if there was a way to make more money. However since the TP prices are messed up 4 silver actually is a lot of money :x

Worked fine for me o_o Yes I had trouble getting the right angle and charge but I got it right after a few tries…

Actually parties are working fine for me now when I party with people from a European server. However when I try to play with my American friends I do encounter problems.

Server: Ring of Fire (Me), Blackgate (Them)
Map: Queensdale Overflow
Party size: 2
Problem:
- I do see them on my map
- I do not see them in game
- I can’t see their talk in Say or Map channel
- Join in option does not show

Party invite, Party- and Whisper channel work fine.. So is this a bug or is it just impossible for us to play together because of the distance of the servers?

Good afternoon!

I’m from Holland and therefore play on a European server (Ring of Fire).
My American friends play on an American server.
We were able to create a team and chat together and while in overflow I did see him on my map moving around. However I could not see him in game. Neither did I receive his messages said in “Say” channel. Is there an issue between American and European servers? I haven’t had this yet with other European servers.
