I know how you feel. I havn’t played in long long time, just logged in last night and saw that a lot has changed. Without friends ingame it’s going to be hard to enjoy all that as much as I want to. It’s an MMO after all.

How many of you are active in the evenings for some random PVE stuff, if you don’t mind me asking ?

Started GW2 at day one but stopped before the first world event thingy. I saw the expansion coming up and I got pumped up for the game again. I want to be part of some social PVE guild (with a slice of PVP maybe). I don’t prefer hardcore guilds. I prefer some laid down guilds without a huge roster of players that you never get to know but also not some really small guilds like <20 players. I like doing mostly PVE stuff and making friends and having fun in the evenings. My main used to be the Thief but I have some other various classes leveled up to some extent. I’m online everyday after 5pm GMT and even on weekends if my wife decides to let me play

I use 30(3,4,9)/30(2,8,12)/0/0/10(4). Scholar set, +5%dmg and sigil of Air (it procs often for good dmg, and is very sexy when it does during backstab) Skills are basi venom/assassin signet/signet of shadow/shadow refuge I will try posting some screenshots later if I am not lazy. Thing is so far I think ive hit around 15k backstabs, but Im usually around 12-14k. I’m talking just the stab, because the whole spike dmg in the combo involves steal and CnD too for the dmg. As you can see my build is just for single target burst during the time the target is turned into stone. Ive managed to instagib guardians and wariors but I guess they didn’t invest in alot defense. All the other classes are pretty much dead if you pull this off.

Im a thief and I do this all the time, I can post few screenshots from last night’s pvp session. Basilisc venom > Cloak and Dagger mid cast Steal> backstab with Assassin Signet > stomp Or any other similar combo. Instead of Steal you can use Shadow Step but steal itslef hits for 2-3k if you specced for it. SO as you can see, it’s not nearly as one shot, because you need to spec all your traits just for this combo, that is self buff with might just for that single BS and invole any possible way of spike dmg in 1sec.

TO all the qq ppl, that is a combo you CANT do more often than around 40seconds, you don’t have ANY def stats, and the build is focused just around this SINGLE combo. During the rest of the time you just a regular glass cannon thief.

We have alot in common than, you can’t even imagine haha. Pm me ingame (Frost Emnity) we can chat about this team pvp thingy and the builds. Btw the link seems to not be working.

Hey man, really loving your video. So far I been only reading the forums and yawning at people dubbing glass cannons be this and that, or whatever " this is OP "threads all over the place. I’m a D/D shortbow thief all the way and I really love your style. Can you share your build and specs, it seems very close to mine I just use alot of stealth to stay alive but generally am glass cannon. It’s very rare to not top the score board or not even die that many times with my build, maybe we can share thoughts, cheers
