Got back on.. my account was totally wiped and used for gold farming..

-I finished downloading gw2 and logged back into my account which was earlier accessed from the US (I live in Aus)

My account has been used for goldfarming everything i owned was sold except my gear i was wearing (Soulbound)

So anyway i changed my password etc… but i dont know what to do my account has a few stacks of scales and such (i sold them only got 3 gold i also lost 59 gold because they used it for their own sales)

So will arenanet roll back my account or just leave it as is? I’m not sure if i can secure my account anymore than it is. It’s just a shame how someone managed to hack into my account and use it to make dirty money

kitten . I guess i have to wait and see. too bad us Australians are lucky if we get 1mb download :’c

Is there any program that i can see my account’s inventory/bank through the internet?

I currently have three. I’m sure if I log in from my tablet to the Forum I can make it four.

They are logged in from a different country so i’m not sure how that works.

That does sound somewhat suspicious but usually when they hack you the first thing they do is change your password. If that wasn’t done then I might suspect a glitch of some type The only thing you can do now is get back on and check.

ANet does offer a one time per account rollback if hacked so if the worse happens and your account was hacked you can have it returned to a point close to the hack date.

The account password was changed but i never received an email and my client was crashing every time i tried to log in so i’m not sure if it was from that or being hacked, but even after changing my password the ip’s were still logged in from another country. and re-logged back in after removing them

Are the IPs from Texas? Sometimes the Texas server’s IP will show up on people’s account.

If you ever do get hacked you can submit a ticket and get your account rolled back to a point before the hack.

They were from L.A two of the same ip’s were logged in at the sametime? so i don’t know if it had something to do with the GW2 servers or not because i was trying to download the patch but it kept crashing. And i cannot log into my account because i had to totally wipe my GW2 folders for a fresh install. so im kind of anxious for it to finish downloading and see if my account really did get hacked. Same thing happened to my in GW1 and i never got my account back :’c

I haven’t been able to login to GW2 for a while because my startup client crashes straight away so i am currently re installing it. Last night under the security tab were it sais currently logged in two identical ip’s were logged in my account from the U.S (I’m from the Aus) I changed my password and removed the two Ip’s and i refreshed my security page and the same ip’s were back there again within 5 seconds?

I decided to do a fresh install to see if my account was compromised and had all my items stolen but i don’t know yet. Was this someone trying to hack me or what? because i don’t understand how they can get back onto my account within 3 seconds repeatedly after changing my password (I also did a full system scan)

-Also i checked it today and the two unknown Connections weren’t there.
If my account did get hacked and everything stolen is it possible for Arenanet staff to do a roll back on my account?
