Alas, I’m afraid you won’t have a ranking for Bell Choir nor premades, as it would be thoroughly unbalanced. As I suspect it also shares its code with other PvP instances, and thus it would all just too unbalanced to have all of that at once. Yep.

As for me, I’ll continue fumbling my way to the 500 notes achievement, I apologize in advance for any grief it may cause. <3

The problem I see, in the end, is how ANet has neglected PvE balance for so long. Zerk and stacking work and are the most efficient way to do things because design encourages it, it’s the path of least resistance. In PvP you aren’t dealing with some dumb AI which will expect to hit you one by one or make no attempts to break groups away and inflict pressure, so that bunker’neer and that conditionmancer you’d despise when running Arah for the 772th time are actually needed.

"Charr and Asura use Male Model"

With asura at least, I think they’ve found a nice compromise. There are several outfits that do use the female version (witch, hexed, ancestral) and they look great on them. Female asura facial and hair options are also clearly more stylized and dare I say, pretty-looking. Being asura doesn’t forbid you from expressing femininity, as you can see from Taimi with her ribbon and pretty eyelashes. I do wish I could have butterflies with the newest armor, though! With the right tint it would fit my necromancer nicely, as butterflies are associated with transformation, death and rebirth.

With charr I think the issue is more complicated, and they do kinda go out of the way to point out how much they value gender equality (With Kalla Scorchrazor standing against the Flame Legion, leading the original rebellion and opening the doors to all female soldiers into the other legions)

Ultimately, if you ask me, it’s just ANet’s laziness. :P They’ll go “Hey there! Look at these fellas, they don’t have quite human anatomy! There’s a lack of two compelling reasons to go the extra mile, therefore we’ll just use the male version of armors and costumes most of the time!”

Confessions

I confess…

- I’ve never been in a party bigger than three people since I’ve started playing a year ago. Zergs and trains and whatever fancy name you give to a blob of people smooshing the same thing, yeah. But not a party proper.

- I’ve never been in a party bigger than three people (A friend and a friend of a friend) because I’m too shy to LFG. :c As a consequence, I’ve never done any dungeon, and I’ve got two level 80 characters.

- Despite my previous confession, I’d really want to have a regular group to do dungeons and fractals with.

- Asura are adorable, but 80% of the face choices for them are terrible. It’s even more jarring with the male Asura, what if I don’t want mine to look like a gremlin’s kitten? D:<

- Female Charr look absurd in dresses, so I’m glad it’s not a common occurrence.

- I might have a little bit of prejudice towards Human Warriors. More often than not, they tend to be the first ones to get downed/defeated whenever I’m in a group, blindly charging and never bothering to dodge. So I cringe a bit every time I see one.

- I don’t like when people go “Necromancer = Evil” when roleplaying. We’ve even got TWO necromancers in the lore that are as good as you can be, Trahearne and Marjory!

- I thoroughly enjoy the schadenfreude ensuing whenever people who tell me my build is crap in open world content end up dying first, sometimes over and over again, or just not dealing enough damage. Sure boys, it might not be “the meta”, but if it’s stupid and it works, it’s not stupid!
