To settle this matter for once and for all, and to not start a ‘who did what to whom’ argument, I was hoping ANet could officially just answer the following question:
While participating in Player-vs-Player (PvP) gameplay, you will not participate in any form of match manipulation. Match manipulation is defined as any action taken to fix or manipulate the outcome of a match or alter or manipulate the rankings or ratings of the ladder.
Given that WvW is clearly PvP gameplay, is the current and widespread practice of “2v1” (i.e. collusion between two teams to the detriment of a third and, it follows, manipulation of the outcome of the match) a violation of the Rules of Conduct?
That’s it. A simple question with hopefully a very simple, one word, answer.
[Zeal] make borderland defense fun. Our home borderland even has a queue when we have almost everything at that map, just because [Zeal] is defending. Very impressive.
I think SBI will beat YB but only due to coverage. It will be a close one for you guys. YB is probably #3 in Silver by the end of the 7 weeks.
Well i thought this match would be a bit closer, but obviously the SBI numbers are swelling with fairweathers.
That and theres been talk of them getting more xfers recently cause people dont give a kitten about leagues anymore.

Maybe they are coming to use from SoR, cause man…that server has been getting hammered the past 2 weeks. Lost by 80k last week, and BG looks like they will roll them by more than 150k this week.

I’m terribly sorry for using all the tools at our disposal at a time convenient for our oceanic/NA all nighter crew to enjoy a little WvW. I sympathize with how you may feel a little sore about it. Now what’s stopping you guys from doing the same thing back to us? A little guild coordination to start a small golem fund will quickly get you all the omega golems you’ll ever need, and it’s not like it’s an original idea.
Also, haven’t we cleared up by now ACs don’t need LoS to hit things, and if you place one in a good position, you can shoot inside towers without using any hacks? That it’s part of the game mechanic seems like a more reasonable explanation than “omg everyone from every server is doing it because hacks!!11!!”.
You really don’t have to be sorry and I’m not being sarcastic. Only a few servers would use omega so frenquently and these servers are at the top of the ranking. Before this match-up I didn’t believe that there are still WvW focused guilds stayed at the servers of lower ranking, but you have at least 3 and do a great job. Hope that we will meet angain only if it isn’t next match-up lol.
In fact this guy on SBI TS kept telling us to give up our T3 garrison while the army of SoS hit us with 5 trebs. Maybe it´s not a bad thing for you CD guys to dicuss tactics with him to against us.
A server isn’t just a name, but source of honor. WvW is designed for fights between servers, not guilds, not groups of friends. You can always change servers for finding an environment called “competitive”, but the element of “honor”, which is an important factor of actions of war, will be corrupted little by little. When you lose the sense of honor, fights will be less meaningful and less fun, even in an environment “competitive”.
When mag hits 400-500 ppt in unbalanced matches, we actually lose players because it is very boring and usually pvd.
How do you keep interest in logging in every night to wipe the maps and then log off? Is it strictly for karma/xp? You guys have been at it for many, many months now.

Is there a good way of countering a golem rush of that magnitude? So far the consensus seems to be “back off, and retake it from them once they move on”.
If you have only one man, you can build a treb aiming the gate, and wait for them. If they come, all their golems will die very quickly. But you have to have patience ; they may not come all day long.
It is not the same WM look at the spelling. The WM from SBI was spelled “War Machine” that one is spelled “Warr Machine”. It is all a psycological play to try to brek our morale on SBI. Either way no worries no matter what is done to us it just makes us stronger which is why we were in T1 for so long against outnumbering odds until we just finally lost to many players to hold in that teir. We where holding in T1 at 3 to 1 odds and when we hit zergs 5-6 times larger than ours we wtill held. Our problem was map coverage compared to their map coverage. It is all tatics and pride and we have both.

You do realize there is more than one WM guild? Warr Machine is a strict, Korean guild that transferred from Kaineng to DR yesterday, and they have been around for a long while.
Hey, a guy from your server just said that they have joined Warr Maching. And how can this Warr Maching be a “strict Korean guild” to have you guys from NA ? Especially when they just transfered to your server for one day ?
