The maps on the wiki are invaluable. I just got 3 I needed thanks to them. I had the map open, and alt-tabbed in and out to make sure I had all the white letter named areas, and got all mine within 30 mins.
I agree, once you know you have the things like Chantry of Secrets, it’s most likely a white named area that is eluding them. I had the same problem and used this approach months ago to solve it. Mine happened to be “Tail of the Serpent” in Timberline Falls.
I was missing tail of the serpent too so good thing i saw this! unfortunately its shiverpeaks
no luck there.
A quote from a web page via a GOOGLE SEARCH.
“Hey all, for those looking for the last place to explore, I was stuck on 174/175 for ages! Until I found a door in the mountainside just above Lake Delavan, the door opened an area called Beggar’s Burrow, guarded by bandits. Hope this helps those looking for last part!”
Hope that helps.
I have beggars burrow already
Oh all of my Krytan maps are at 100%. So its got to be one of those areas in white text that for whatever reason are not counted in world completion, but are counted for the krytan explorer achievement.
For the life of me, I can not find the last area required for Krytan Explorer. I have found all of the lists that people have of commonly missed areas (the dam in Queens, the jp there, the spots on claw island you get in story) and I have all of them! I’ve gone through the lists of locations on the wiki, and I have found all of them. I have the poi inside the chantry of secrets as well.
I’m stuck :’(
Hi everyone, I am looking for a PvE focused guild, but I am also wanting to start playing WvW more. So far, I have the most fun simply leveling and exploring the maps with a group of people, it makes events and such much more exciting.
My highest level character is currently a ranger (ign: Eparchos). He is level 63, around 50% map completion. I’m not as progressed as I’d like to be because I like having a community to play with, not wander the world alone. I currently play on Yaks Bend, but I can switch servers before the deadline if needed.
Back in GW1, I was in The Mirror of Reason [SNOW]. A few may know of the alliances we were in, such as SCAR and YUM, who had top PvE/SC guilds such as DL. Was with them for many years, but now that the free server swaps are ending they are moving onto a EU server.
Message me ingame or reply here, whatever works.
I can say with 100% certainty that you do NOT need a gamespy account. This is based on 7 years of gw and following anet
My friend just bought and registered his gw2 account, but unfortunately when he tries to log in it says incorrect username/password. He’s tried many times, but somehow it simply doesn’t work. In the “I forgot my password” section, he can’t reset the password because he needs a character name, which he doesn’t have because he doesn’t have a character yet. Anyone have any ideas what to do? He emailed support already, but he was very excited to play tonight so any help is appreciated.
Hi everyone, just a quick suggestion about map population.
In the beginning, I LOVED this game due to actually playing with other people. Anywhere I went, someone else was there as well. However, over the past few weeks this is most definitely not the case. Just made a new char and I’m in Queensdale, Yaks Bend and again there are hardly any people. Dynamic events are tough to complete by yourself, and I think this will throw off new players to the game (they will think its underpopulated).
The only solution I can think of for this problem is to have a world system similar to GW1 where they had “Districts”. Players from every server would simply play in districts for pve maps, when a district fills up it would make a new one. This way the maps are always as full as possible, leading to (imo) the most fun experience! If it were me I would just relegate the “servers” to be the WvW teams and bonuses and leave it at that, the open world is too big for the capacity of the servers so in most cases players are spread too thin.
Any suggestions from you guys? I’m just worried that the intro zones are already near empty barely 4 months into the game, in a year they will probably be ghost towns.
you’d think itd be in your account settings, just “Turn on” and “turn off” but whatevs, it should be worked out eventually
yeah I’ve checked in all account settings, done searches on enabling it, done support tickets, literally everything I can find is how to shut it off when it is preventing you from logging in, nothing about turning it on because you WANT it on haha
Hacked, nothing being done. Error 3002 and changed email.

marcus, your account is blocked so there can’t be further damage done to it. they have a TON of accounts to be worried about, you cant get all sad because they have other people that sent in tickets ahead of you. Also, they have said multiple times NOT to delete tickets and resubmit, because that puts you at the end of the list. Just hold it out and be happy that they blocked your account instead of letting the gold seller have access to it. theyre working on it.
i hope this isnt against forum policy… but bump?
dude… in your screen shot pretty much everything is near max. Turn it down the 275 cant handle it.
Hi there, I think I skipped enabling Email authentication during launch, and I simply can NOT find a way to re-enable it. I know it isnt enabled because I just logged into my account from a friends house no problem. Support isnt being helpful at all, just sending me copy/paste answers or computer generated answers. Anyone here know how to re-enable it? I’d like to get that done as soon as possible…
Protect yourself, create a brand new email address for GW2

also amazing advice: use a Gmail account with 2-step verification. and a different password for gmail/gw. They somehow get your gw account, oh shiz they need the email verification to get in. oh shiz now they somehow got your gmail password as well? crap then cause they need your mobile phone to get the verification key to log into your gmail to accept the login request. being secure honestly isnt all that hard.
also, a mixture of letters, numbers, and punctuation is hard to remember and isnt always as effective. as detailed in a tweet from Anet, longer passwords are harder for computer programs to brute force and are often times easier to remember. if your password is if=$ic,@ that honestly isnt that many characters for a computer to brute force through and it is also hard to remember. If your password is i,love, swimming,at,sunny, beaches then your chance of a password being ‘hacked’ is VERY low, as it is longer and thus harder for a computer to guess, and also it is very easy to remember. Just something to keep in mind.
