Guild Wars 2

Hey guys, have not played Guild wars 2 for about half a year, was wondering what is the best Profession/Build for dungeons right now? Just so i can play someone to farm dungeons with.

Any ideas?

Just recently came back , well i actually have not started playing yet, it’s been a few months 5-6months since I have last played, and currently i want to start fresh, however i want to start with a profession that’s needed a lot in Dungeons. Have their been any changes with each professions or is Warrior/Guardian/Mesmer still currently the best for Dungeons? Have their been any significant changes to Elementalist/ Engineers or Necromancers throughout dungeon runs?

Hey guys, havn’t played in a while so doing a fresh start, re-rolling an elementalist atm with the name of Sweet Candies, most of the guild i was in the past have been kind of inactive right now so wondering if anyone has an active/friendly/talkative guild that is somewhat in the GMT+10 timezone that would like a noob like me to join.

Which should i make next and get to level 80? These are my remaining 3 that’s not level 80, well besides warrior, but i don’t like warriors :/

Hey, been playing thief for a bit now and not sure what weapon set i would want to mainly use, narrowed it down to SB + P/P or S/P.. i know i know, i should change my weapon set based upon the situation as i’ve been told, but meh, i rather stick to weapon sets i enjoy in most cases, these are what i enjoy.

I’m mainly going to dungeon with a berserker set, i’m not sure how S/P works with a berserker set, being squishy and all… though i heard it works as long as i keep my 3 skill up constantly as it evades attacks.

If you guys can find a trait build that fits well with either set would help me too

Hey guys, i’m quite active, i have a level 80 engineer that i use to main, tho i’m leveling my Thief and Elementalist right at this moment.

I’m on a lot. I want a guild that has quite an active player base, prefer if it uses teamspeak3 as well.

The main factor that will attract me to a guild, is a guild that isn’t full of Jerks and isn’t completely bias, already had to leave 2 guilds due to players within that guild able to harass other guildies without anything happening to them.

I’m currently on Sea of Sorrows
I also prefer an oceania type guild (Australia / NZ) though i’ll join any nice guilds right now.

Doing a power based thief with pistol and pistol and focusing on doing one of these 2 trait build, iprefer a sustainable damage throughout a fight, if none of these traits fit for what i want, then can you guys make one for me?

I have a engineer that i’ve spent a few hundred hours on, yeah it’s lvl 80, but i’m mainly focusing on my Guardian atm.

I prefer a guild with an active player base with a lot of guildies on at a time, and actually talking, and if you guys have something like team speak with people actually using it, i will love you

Oh and if possible, be a NZ / Australian guild

Yeah yeah, your generic “which profession should i play thread”
I’m basically looking for which profession i should focus on.
Right at this moment the Five professions i enjoy the most are
Guardian
Ranger
Thief
Necromancer
Elementalist

Though i do not know which one of these i should main.
Yes i’ve already tried them out, lowest level currently is 50.
This is mainly for PvE experience / Dungeons
I do not know what i want in a profession..
All builds i enjoy on these professions are power based.

So yeah… basically i enjoy all of these professions pretty evenly across so i can’t decide which one I’d rather main. In the end I’ll be playing all these characters and gearing them, but i rather focus most of my energy amongst one of these professions and since i can not decide, I’ll let you guys decide.

Hmm i’m stuck between Elementalist and Necromancer now, can someone list pro and cons for me and suggest which one i should level up to 80 next?

How about fast and decently high damage that can target multiple mobs?

Lol, well i narrowed it down to these 4 which i enjoy playing, i’ve tried them all out to about lvl 30 + PvP, just need to figure which one of these i want to level 80 first.

Hey everyone, trying to find a profession that i want to level 80 with a second time, my first lvl 80 is an engineer and i enjoy it, and trying to get another character to 80, but i don’t know which one i should, which should it be?

Don’t be people that don’t say play what ever you want, if i knew that i wouldn’t be asking at all :/

Necromancer
Guardian
Thief
Elementalist

Playing this game a bit more, i’ve come to the realize that i prefer this 2 professions more out of everything else, Though it’s because i like these 2 the most it makes it hard for me to play one at all. EG. If i am on my Engineer i will just stand and mope thinking if i should go on my Ranger.

This is why i’m asking you guys, the community of Guild wars 2, to help me decide which one i should play and level to 80 first. I’m more of a PvE person, and for Engineer i like running Rifle + Elixers, and i refuse to use kits since i don’t like them much, and on Ranger i’m thinking of either doing a Melee ranger build which consist of weapons such as Sword/Warhorn + Greatsword or a conidition build of shortbow + Axe and torch. ( If you vote for ranger as leveling to 80 first, tell me which build i should advance on as well )

Well i want to play due to the fact that i like the game? I just can’t find a profession to stick to, but good to know someone wants me to quit from asking a question. Like i stated, i can’t stick to one profession, i tend to wander off and play another deleting the previous one sometimes, that’s why i’m asking if someone can just set a Race + Profession combo for me so i can force myself stick with, and not wander off to another profession again :/

I’ve had this game for like 3-4months now.. and i still can’t decide what profession to main, this problem is so bad that i havn’t got a profession past lvl 20… Yeah.. :/ I keep deleting, remaking, feel like another one…

SOOO I’m going to force myself to play a profession + race you guys tell me to + What weapon sets i should use…

And don’t tell me to play my favourite one, cause that’s the problem, i like all professions atm :/ just tell me which i should start first to send off to lvl 80 XD haha

Hey guys, I’m quite new to GW2 and been asking for help about the Engineering profession in game alot, tho no one knows much about them cause most people i’ve talked to havn’t played them much… so i’ll ask here..

I’m currently Pistol / Shield with Elixer U Rocket Boots and Elixer B for utilities and supply crate for my last skill. I was wondering what traits should i do to complement these attritubes, and also what sigils should i be using?

Honestly, Mesmar has taken my interest, how do you guys find them? Pros/Cons? and what weapons would you suggest using on them, though i might find out myself what i like about them later on :P

And i’m aready on the Sea of Sorrows server :P my mates are on there

Well, I’m more of a purely PvE person, and i just want a simple class to start out with, an suggestions for that?
