Had this problem, too. Windows clock was correct.
So I decided to try to look into GW2 directory and found a crash.dmp and a tmp file. Deleted them, restarted the client, and everything was fine.
Should you want to try something like that, just remember to never delete the executable or the “.dat” file (20+ gigabytes), because they are needed to the game
Problem seems resolved for me, too. Now i’m able to play without any lag.
It would be nice if everyone who wrote here complaining they couldn’t play, came to drop a line if their problem has been resolved, too.
Same problem here, and i can’t understand how it is that some of my friends are currently playing without any difficulty, while i can’t even manage to move my char when a i login because i get disconnected. I reside in Italy and i’m under fastweb. I did a trace route to the game server, and got this:
19 70 ms 21 ms 20 ms 206-127-157-94.plaync.com [206.127.157.94]
20 259 ms 22 ms 22 ms 206-127-157-102.plaync.com [206.127.157.102]

This means that the packets are lost inside ArenaNet network. But, really, i can’t understand why my friends on the same server, from Italy, are still playing. Anyway, i’ll go doing something else hoping the problem will be resolved soon
