Any mesmer can kill you during 10 seconds while you are running away and dodging? Bull.

I am currently using a glass cannon mesmer build, but it feels like a glass arrowcart. Unless you are a glass cannon yourself, I’d be struggling to kill you in 10 seconds even if you stood still. Lets bring in moving and the ability to dodge, and you can outlive that.
Besides, if you have a squishy build, maybe the problem is not the Moa but your build?

I’m curious about the thief damage you mentioned. How does a thief get his steal to do 6k damage? I do about 1k last time I checked, and I try to maximize crit dmg, power and prec. Could be wrong about the numbers, but 6k is insane even if you stack as many buffs as you can. I suppose the max might amount is 8 (from venom + active sigil)

I am surprised you think mesmers are an 8. I agree they are somewhat OP, but there are definitely ways to counter them depending on their build. I wouldn’t place them higher than guardians myself, but I haven’t played guardians myself to judge accurately.

It is a problem in SPvP as well. Using staff clone build and trying to do some damage, dodge-spawned clones instead go off attacking everything else. It almost breaks the build in group v group situations, as a lone staff clone isn’t going to do much

I think you should have posted it in suggestions, even if it won’t be read by many people (It’s being spammed rapidly).

I’d love some changes, especially concerning shatters, not necessarily what you suggested but they aren’t helping our playstyle much.

Most changes you mentioned are way too OP. Unlimited clones not only will cause absolute chaos, but staff clones would obliterate everything near them.

Doesn’t he summon minions? I remember noticing he was a necro even before anything has been said about it

We know that mesmers have the three little circles indicating whether you have an illusion summoned, and how many. What I think would make things much better is to make circles look different depending on whether you have phantasms or clones summoned.
As it is now, I can have three illusions, but can rarely tell whether I have two phantasms, three, or one. I can always look at the battlefield, but it’s often too hectic in group environments.
I think it could be like this: Summoned clone is purple circle. Summoned phantasm is pink circle. Empty illusion slot would be an unfilled circle.
