I miss GW2, hopefully I can play again soon. Please get this sorted soon, A-Net. This is pretty kittenty.

GW2 is one of my favorite games because it nearly always performs perfectly. Has for about a year and a half since I bought it.

YET TODAY.
Everything went to kitten. I crash to desktop every five to twenty minutes. If not CTD, it says that I lost connection and boots me to character screen. This all happens very suddenly, no prior warning, no real reason. Just boom.

On top of this, the lag is OUT OF THIS kittenING WORLD. Everyones teleporting, everything will freeze…I don’t understand this bulldog. What the hell has happened? Am I the only one experiencing this?

Any tips on how to fix this? I want my smooth GW2 experience back.

So I recently bought Brahams armor skin, and used it on my norn warrior.

However i’ve since decided that I really rather prefer the Charr, and i’d like to get the skin over to him instead, if thats at all possible.

Sadly the armor is soulbound, though…Is there any way to get around this, or is it stuck on my norn forever?

At the moment i’ve been playing carrion/trapper condition ranger— Is that a viable option at all or no?

I’m currently a level 56 Charr ranger, and I really enjoy playing him.

However, I hear and read some very disheartening things, saying that we are simply not viable in end game dungeons/fractal runs, and that other classes completely outclass us.

I’m not the kind of person who wants 100% efficiency, but I also don’t want to be completely useless?

Basically what i’m asking is; Can I play a ranger and still be useful to my party in dungeons, or would I be better off going back to my warrior?

So I just created a Charr ranger and I am so far loving it.

One thing I don’t enjoy is the lack of good armor available.

One I do like however is the mist walker armor, (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/WvW_armor)
But it is only obtainable at level eighty apparently.

So is there any way I could get the armor, just for the skin? Any possible method? I have a level eighty character, transmutation stones, and 1000 badges of honor.

Any assistance would be great!

I have a level 40 human engineer, but…humans are just so boring. I wanted to try something interesting; so I rerolled into a charr engineer!

…However, i’m noticing that my weapon kit back peices are floating a very noticeable distance away from my back. I am only in the low level armor though, so does this issue fade away at the higher levels?

TL;DR: Is it normal for charr-engineer weapon kits to be floating a distance off my back; and is this an issue with all armor sets or just some?

I Love the racial skill “Hidden pistol” For charr, but this bug has been around so so long, I just want to know if theres any fix/ any planned fix?

Basically the bug is when you use the pistols, they point up in the air, instead of toward the target, like so:

It’s only cosmetic but still really frustrating, kills the immersion for me. Any help with this?

What are the odds XD Didn’t mean to steal the set; just got some inspiration from it, but couldn’t for the life of me figure out what those gloves were. Thanks for that, though.

Currently i’ve got 30 in critical strikes and 30 in shadow arts.

But now I can’t decide whether to stick the last 10 points in trickery or acrobatics.

Which one would be more useful to me, and which trait should I pick for the 10 point trait? Any input would be appreciated.

Love this guys armor set, but I just cannot figure out what gloves he has equipped! Looked through numerous galleries.

This is also medium armor, if you wern’t aware. Any help finding out what they are would be greatly appreciated!

No help? Saw that coming.

Not a login issue, just trying to download the game.

Anyway, I downloaded GW2 once before with no troubles some months ago, but quit the game and uninstalled it. I am now seeking to return ankittenrying to download the game once again.

Now my situation is I can only download overnight when nobody is using the internet, as downloading basically stops everyone else in my family from using the internet.

However, my GW2 launcher keeps closing itself off. I wake up in the morning, it’s done maybe 40000/240000 of the files but then it’s just gone. I can’t stay up all night to monitor it’s progress, so I NEED it to stay up and download the bloody game.

Any help to make it stop doing this would be greatly appreciated.

Totally stuck as to where I should go from here.

I use pistol main hand with dagger offhand, and i’m not sure whether to put the remaining trait points in this build towards crit or power and condition damage!

Any suggestions as to which would be better suited for my current build?

EDIT: Or should I just go 30 shadow arts for the stealth regen?

Ugh, the entire point of this game is to NOT have that.

So, i’m new to the game. Enjoying it greatly in the eight days i’ve had it. Leveled a warrior to 35, decided I wanted to try out elementalist.

Now by this stage I had learned about transmutation stones, so I thought “Why wait until level 35 to look good? Lets do some transmutation!”

So, after grinding for many hours to earn the required gold for tier one cultural armor, (Yes, i’m poor.) I finally got it! Hell yeah, level 35 gear at level 11. Lookin’ good.

But then.

THE EFFIN’ BUG.

The transmuted items are stuck in “Dye remover” Color. Cannot and will not change. I dye it ebony, and close it off, but it stays in dye remover color. Then if I unequip that piece of armor? Have a crash.

This is the first major bug i’ve experienced in guild wars. No, scratch that, the only bug. But it’s a big one. Huge. Horrible. Horrendous, bug.

Please help me. I hate wasting six hours of work just for a bug. Anything I can do? Anything?

So i’m a bit of a noob, so even 1 gold is quite a lot of money to me. (Got the game four days ago)

Now I’m a warrior and use heavy armor, and I’ve been saving up for a dye I think looks really really good on heavy armor, gold dye. Golden armor, pretty cool. It was around 1 gold and 50 silver, which I can earn with a bit of hard work.

So after i’d got to 90 silver or so I decided to check the gold dye again in the market.

Suddenly, it’s 4 gold and 50 silver.

The hell!? How did this happen? Does this happen often? Is there any chance of it dropping?

5 gold is simply to much for me to spend on a dye.

A few TF2 references for engineer.

When putting up a healing turret, the engineer calls it a “Dispenser.” Depending on the race. My human engineer goes “Dispenser is up…!”

Oh, and tool kit monkey wrench for smacking turrets. Makes me think of TF2 right away

I have that armor; but i’m not sure what color dye he has used to dye it, specifically the blue. I love that shade of blue.

If anyone could point out what color it is so I could buy it, i’d greatly appreciate it!

Getting guild wars 2 tomorrow, very excited.

Been looking on youtube, reading wiki, gathering info on the engineer class for hours now, because it looks like a class i’d really enjoy. (Despite all the negativity on these forums. Wow. :S)

Anyway, I’ve made up a little build I plan to use, and was wondering if anyone could provide any tips on how to improve/Tweak it.

I’m going duel pistols for the bleed/condition damage, as I’m not putting any points into explosives, do I didn’t think rifles would be a good choice.
My main questions for the build are:

What are some good traits for pistols in the firearms tree? Not really sure what to get here for pistols, it seems more focused on rifles, which confuses me. Would my build work with rifles?

Good adept trait for the “Tools” Trait line? Currently chose static discharge as it looks useful, and ground targetting turrets dosn’t seem very useful—But is there anything it can be used for?

Any answers to these questions and tips/tweaks would be greatly appreciated! Sorry for the long post.
