Kind of a question of can some one else stop some one from acting out to there personality? If you want to grind then you will grind and even your self cant stop such a thing because its part of your personality.
Its not really a question of personality. Its a question of ethics that Anet is failing on. They sit there and promise content. Great! Then remove it and all ability to enjoy it or otherwise do it. What do they have to show for it? A select few happy players that did nothing for the past 2 weeks but sit here and play, while the few of us did other things like real life, or barely made it on for dailies or some other reason.
I know I had my chance, but others had even less of an opportunity than me.
I did the dungeon 2 times, first time was very fun! We did it with only 2 ppl, me and my friend (guardian and warrior), 2nd time did a fast run full party and got a jetpack
Did all the achievements, was okay overall.
See this is what’s annoying. Congrats to you by the way, but the rest of us didn’t get such enjoyment. And since this is a “grindless” game, why should I continue to do it more than once? I wanted a Jetpack, I wanted a Mini, screw Anet if I am about to Grind for the coin to get either/or, and why should I pay real money for content that just got removed?
If you weren’t able to complete all the achies, just consider this: Those of us that did finish it all, only got a title and a pair of neat-looking gloves. Nothing game-breaking. I’m happy to have finished it and got the prizes, but I know I’d be just fine without them. The gloves don’t even match my outfit.
Some of us would have really appreciated the achievements. I might have taken more of an interest in the Southsun crap the first time, but there were no achievements then. I would have done more on this too, but Anet seems to be messing up all over and I couldn’t get them all.
Seriously, this Living Story should be scrapped for an actual expansion. This is like a preview of what the dungeon creators can do, and what the story writers can’t do. Scrap silly stories give us legitimately fun content that isn’t deleted ever 10 days.
I will remember how the only promises Anet will follow through with is:
-More RNG
-More removed content
-More bugs
Are we no longer able to these two achievements? I thought we’d at least be able to do them, since the dead drops are available in field. And I had a few trinkets left to find. Am I out of luck?
Alright, I’m an achievement kitten and I have been trying to get this achievement for a while, but Anet seems to not want me to.
Anet, I appreciate the idea of having a bonus boss, killing the Risen Covington Captain, but this is just beyond stupid that you’d let it respawn faster than meta event can start and block it. How am I supposed to get this? I called my Guild into help, I called into map chat for help, and we defeated it! GUESS WHAT? No meta even restart because someone blocked the progress by the little bonus GROUP EVENT starting.
Tell me Anet, how am I supposed to get this when I sat through four events that are blocking the meta event. I’ve died countless times because the Champion is so stupid hard with only 4 or 5 people there that they just bug out on death.
PLEASE FIX THIS. I’ve cussed out local enough, I’d rather not do it here on the forums for continued inaction.
I was busy running around doing my dailies in Gendarran Fields. I went over to the battle pits, because its pretty easy to get them done fast. I started the pits events solo, and lasted all the way through. At the very end it was interesting because Vollym actually has different dialogue for solo players. Its not even listed on the wiki.
I was wondering what other little hidden gems people had found that may or may not be covered by the wiki.
I don’t know if it was addressed earlier, but if you guys look at the GW2 wiki the Clock Tower is not needed for the Emissary of the Mad King. Next, I know this was a difficult challenge, but I made it twice after 2 hours of practice. The key to this challenge is practice, practice practice. Don’t sit there and roll your eyes each time you fail, learn why you failed. At first it was difficult, because I had to go through and disable certain controls, then I had to learn the track itself. By the time I was finished with this challenge, I could navigate through my camera spazzes and make the next jump blind.
This puzzle isn’t hard, just sit back, relax, yell at a few Charr and Norn like I did, and then just do it. Just be glad ArenaNet isn’t punishing you for falls like all the other puzzle challenges.
Did all the achievements, was okay overall.
