This sucks, I only started playing GW2 3 months ago and have saved up every single penny I earned. I now have 300 gold, and that is nowhere near enough to get me a twilight. I was thinking about getting RMT gold, and it seems to hit late joiners like me worse than others

There’s too much to switch out, and that system is not worth upgrading OP.

If I were you, I’d just put together a new system.

Something like this:
Core i5
8GB ram
750ti graphics card
Small SSD drive (these are much much cheaper nowadays)
at the very least, a 400watt “RMS” PSU. If you don’t know what RMS means, just get a generic PSU with about 500-600watts)

From the above, if you want to futureproof your gig, maybe upgrade the CPU to a newer gen i7 and a good PSU. My personal favorite for PSU’s are Zalman and Antec

I used to be in Team Union and War Machine back in the GW1 days, and juuuuust started playing GW2 yesterday (total noob with a capital N)

Hi. I’m a Korean American living in Korea. I started playing GW1 starting from open beta, and quit when GW2 came out, only to purchase GW2 and just stopped playing it. I have been playing D3/LOL/SC2 and my PS Vita, until I became bored of them, and decided to give GW2 a try. Needless to say, I’m a total noob, but have the basic mechanics and gameplay mechanics down.

I do not have much knowledge about GW2, but I’d like to get into PVP of some sort… not sure what PvX and WvW are exactly, but it doesn’t matter. As mentioned in my title, I used to play for Team Union when the group was quite small, and then much later for War Machine after the reigns were handed to my friend “Jiseongogo” I was also in some other high ranking guilds, but working at a fortune 100 company didn’t have the time or resources to be able to play in professional competitions.

The time I turn on my PC is usually from 7pm – 11pm everynight (GMT +9), and I think that will equate to early morning Pacific Standard Time. I think if there’s a clan that is active in the mornings PST, that would be a perfect match.

I am mature, and consider myself very competitive. I am a quick learner, and willing to help out once I level up at least 1 character to 70.

If you’ve read all that, and would like to recruit me, please give me a holler.
