One of the things people might realize too late is that after they change home worlds, their guild progress and vault gets reset on your new home server. All the items in your vault also does not follow you across servers. Guesting back does not solve the issue; only changing back your home world does. As a GW staff mentioned, it works as intended.
Personally, I think that the resetting of guild progress is understandable to a certain extent (starting on a new server and all).
However, it is quite a shame and disappointment that the guild vault is not shared across all servers. As guild members, no matter where we are on, we should have access to everything that is in the guild vault – across all servers. Especially so if the guild is a small one and everyone contributes to the guild vault.
Suggestion:
1) To have guild vault accessible from all servers or at least via guesting
2) There should also be a pop-up “warning” text that tells you further about what the home world transfer might affect (ie. guild progress, guild vault etc) BEFORE players click to change their home worlds. This should be extremely useful now that we have to pay gems to change home worlds and minimize on upsetting players.
