WvW matches should still last one/two weeks but be split up into “games” or “sets” by getting rid of the current ongoing scoring system. Each “game” could count up to a certain set amount of points and the first server to reach that amount wins one game and the score counter resets. After a certain amount of games won a server would win a “set” and all assets in WvW would reset to default control. Win the most sets (resets) and a server would win the 1week/2week long match.
Matchups in which one server is completely dominating the others would reset more frequently (perhaps every 2-3 days) allowing more opportunities for the lesser standing servers to participate while still maintaining strong competition and long duration match resets (maybe every 5-6 days) on more evenly placed servers if the scoring system was redesigned properly.

Like ArenaNet told us years ago. Dear God, what is up with you people buying games you know nothing about?
Who said I didn’t already know this? Please point me in the direction of them stating that all of the level 80 content would be a complete joke of a difficulty and grind. I also wasn’t aware of them removing the whole concept of mobs in boss fights that you think they apparently stated years ago.
I’ve linked this 3 times already, but I’ll do it again, just for you.
There is no endgame. There is only a game. We knew this before we bought the game. Why didn’t you?
Maybe you should read that yourself and realize that their entire design is faulty due to the way events, rewards, and stats scale.
I’m pretty sure it bears repeating:
Just because you have an opinion and a keyboard doesn’t make your opinion valid.
IF, in a purely factual and unbiased way, you can prove your statement, THEN it’s a valid fact. Until then, it’s an opinion. And one I really don’t agree with or understand.
So you find it balanced to be able to go back to lower level areas as part of “endgame” and kill elites in a few hits? Of course it’s my opinion and my opinion is that the game is incredibly easy and thus no progression. The real question is why you have to take such a stance when anyone gives their opinion on the system yet give no rebuttal or argument nor examples.

Their entire design philosophy is flawed. They say they want “endgame” PvE to be everything from 1-80 and stay the same at 80, but at 80 you have no character progression, no story progression, no gear progression, no exploratory progression, no content progression ect. It all stops at 80 because of all of these things ending at 80. The only hidden truth in their statement is that the game is heading towards completion at 80 only to be shelved as it has no staying power as an MMORPG game unless all you want to do is PvP.
1-80:
You constantly upgrade new gear and items and can still customize your aesthetic looks.
You constantly explore new areas and dungeons.
You constantly gain utility skills and open up new playstyles through more and new traits.
You become more powerful as you level or at least have some sense of character progression and growth.
At 80:
You grind skill points to change the look of your items
You grind dungeons for items with the exact same stats as the ones you already have.
You grind the same DE’s and areas you spent lots of time in on the way to 80 and 100% map completion on. They aren’t even different, unique, or imaginative and 95% of them are forms of “escort X to Y” or “defend X from Y” or “take over X from Y”. No unique mechanics, no special strategies, no difficult challenges to overcome. The only unique DE’s are the handful of dragons and they aren’t even worthy to be considered mobs as most of them aren’t even “mobile” outside of cinematic animation form. It honestly feels like you are beating on a giant wall and not some deadly or dangerous and challenging boss.
Your character progression completely stagnates, unless you are vane and only care about aesthetics.
Melee are at a very distinct disadvantage in dungeons because you only get 2 dodges and yet must be within melee range to do any damage. A lot of people just go ranged for obvious reasons. It’s certainly not balanced for all playstyles because melee on some classes simply don’t have the options available to them to avoid taking every hit.
Not a bug. It’s intentional now that you can’t salvage or sell karma gear as a response to previous issues.
This has happened since one of the patches to “fix” performance after the main release and I think its just some artificial limit that was placed on the number of characters/npcs/mobs being able to be rendered at a time in that patch update. After all less things being able to be rendered at a time = better performance.
It really does need to be either modified, be able to be modifed, or outright removed since it interferes so much with the gameplay in highly populated events and areas.
Still no word on this and it’s still not working. Probably a lot of people out there wishing they could have 45% extra bleed duration or actual working condition duration from runes.
Not exactly an insignificant amount.
I’ve gained several levels (easily over 1mil exp) at 80 in a single zone and play session without going down or dieing and my bar for this is still at 0.
The monthly version of it works fine and I’ve completed it fully to all levels twice now but the lifetime version has never been higher than 0.
The skill “Throw gunk” (The ethereal field) from stealing will automatically break any stealth if you have it active when trying/using/being in stealth. Pretty annoying and I can’t think it is intentional.
Works fine for me. It doesn’t reset one of each, it randomly resets all of one skill category.
So it will either reset all venoms, all tricks, all deceptions ect. Which type is reset however is random and if you don’t have any of those skills on your bar it will do nothing.
Rune of the Afflicted (2) , Rune of the Centaur (2), and Rune of the Krait (2) 15% bleeding duration all do not currently work. This really needs to be fixed and I’ve been reporting it since back in the beta.
It’s also not a matter of stacking or any sort of calculation as even with 0% condition duration or 0% extra bleeding duration they have no effect. The sigils that give bleeding duration do work, at least for PvE.
