Use vsync to limit fps to screen refresh rate.
If you are using an ssd, goto power setting > advanced > set ‘sleep hdd’ to never. This resolved various issues I had.
if you have >=8 gigs ram, limit virtual memory to 500meg.
Also and I know this will sound strange, goto network card vendor and soundcard vender website and install latest network card driver. For intel network cards it’s only few months old. I don’t know why, but this is what finall resolved my hardlock and crashing issues.
