Altoholic too.
Have 69 slots, then the gemstore icon was removed.
Made most (60 or so) with in game gold.
I would love to make more, I have concidered a second account but I simply have too many goodies on my account (skins, outfits, gliders, minis, etc) and I dont want to start all over again with that.
Would love to see a raise in number :-)
I now work on world completes, at 25 currently.
I mostly play while logged in for work, late shifts from home on standby, so solo mapping and levelling is my game.
Then ofcourse there’s the rebuilding of old 80s when a new map comes out, sent 40+ to complete Draconis now
Good to see I am not the only one with the altoholism bug.
A few ideas:
Tiles for character selection screen
Sortable character selection screen
A nice title on getting 69, like “Altoholic”
and last but not least
more character slots
I promise to mainly make asura …. they use less diskspace :-)
I like the new map, it’s big, green and inviting, with some puzzling places to get to.
I am not a story following player and usually do it once.
Also not a fan of the long fights with popping aoe blobs.
Like others said the final battle was a pingpong-revive-dmg-repeat battle.
All the time I just pressed 1 and hoped it would be over quick.
When finally over I ran around in the mansion gathering some letters.
But when I wanted to leave there was no exit, no exit button, nothing.
Boss dead, help npc standing idle.
Had to leave instance en all progress gone.
Don’t feel like replaying story.
But I completed map on 3 characters and counting :-)
Try scrolling tru 58 characters :-)
Would be nice to have some sort of pre set selection or icon based character screen.
Working on my 70 max :-)

just installed new SSD HDD, new Graphics card with clean install new driver
complete client re-install.
Happened while mining in Brisban.

Have this a lot recently, while levelling mesmers
Client repair didn’t cure it
After I installed a new HDD, full reinstall it happened again
also I see sudden freezes and drops to 1 FPS
Never had this before, been playing since October 2012 so I looks like a recent issue.
I am a purely PvE player.
I have 27 characterslots ( Yes call me addicted on making and levelling them )
I have 17 Level 80s, all traited and in exotics, except main.
I have and want 0 legendaries, chose to buy 20+ slots over a single precursor.
On levelling I loved how one 80 ended up differently traited, even on same weapon sometimes.
That was possible because 3.10 gold bought all traits and from L11 ( say 16 ) you could start experimenting.
And assigning that one traitpoint upon levelling forced me to look ahead and choose a path I wanted to try.
No More.
Now after update a player like me will have to come up with a quick and least tedious way to get just those tested traits I know are best.
No more switching, just copy the known setup from before.
Only my main has 300 skillpoints to spare to buy all.
The way I see it this kills experimenting and anticipating.
Yes I know people will tell you “You can get all for free”
But the reason I lasted 27 characters is I was perfectly fine with PvE alone.
And I know many people who choose NOT to do group content ( too much ).
What I don’t understand and i hope to clarify is the changes in trait system will NOT lead to more experimenting. People don’t grind stuff they DON’T need to craft their target just because it’s nice.
Nobody now kills Queensdale Elite Spider just “to experiment” .. they killed the Champion because it gave results.
Just wanted to speak my mind.
P.S. Get me a title for having 27 characters ;-)

Agree on not liking the daily system.
I only started doing dailies when I had been playing for 3-4 months, since then for me as a purely PvE player they have been a thing that kept me busy on daily logins.
I noticed how since update I stopped after grinding the 5-6 that I could do ( I do not WANT to do Pvp, wvw or dungeons, just happy to play solo and chat, can’t you accept that ? )
Wanted to post my opinion on the new “selectable” dailies but moderators chose to close that topic as they found it “complaining”
Maybe the choice of words of the guy who started it was a bit unsmart, but the opinions expressed by posters seemed not.
seeing the reaction to people’s opinions I for now have dailies go from a reason to log in every day to where monthlies have been for months now: In the “O did I complete that by accident ?” department
hmm, don’t know what to think of it. i often play solo on virtually deserted maps
Monthly ones often need wvw or pvp or dungeon ones, I have accepted I will never do
those,
but that dailies were a nice thing to keep me coming back in a daily logins :-)
any answers ?

For some weeks I noticed this too, no changes in system made by me, all sounds work, just the music is gone.
Odd this has been posted 2-3 months ago without any answer ( like many things reported )
Makes me wonder if there is a quicker way to report these things and I am the only one adding things here :-)
Was so 2 months ago already, lots of posts about it, returned to this map with a new character today: same dead quests.
Maybe I will invite 2 friends for the upcoming events and show them this part :-)
