It’s not just a DC issue, it’s a rollback issue. I had gotten the centaur skill point in the southwest (where you go into the cave), was disconnected about 10 minutes later, and had to get the skill point again.
I don’t know if I lost any items as I hadn’t been looking at my inventory.
People are saying they’re no longer dropping, but it still shows that they are in the “Announcements” box on the forum page.
Perhaps they were “invisible”. I’ve forgotten to change my status to “Online” a time or two, myself.
They’re definitely still in the game, but not a very common drop from herb nodes in Ascalon, only.
