The Mystic Forge Podcast is a relatively new podcast covering everything that Guild Wars 2 has to offer. The mystic forge takes four random components to create something else entirely. Our podcast does the same thing using the the opinions, gaming backgrounds and experiences of four friends who are enjoying the game together. What comes out of every episode is anyone’s guess!
Our regular hosts are Jason, Lindsay, Mark and Emmet. We’re long-time friends, and we certainly earn our explicit tag when it comes to the podcast.
In episode 3 we talk about how we’ve been spending time in Tyria, including our first experiences with dungeons, massive world events and the island of Orr.

The scepter does have an upside in that is isn’t considered a projectile, and thus cannot be reflected. But that’s a small consolation to what is otherwise a lackluster weapon.
If it functioned like the Mesmer’s greatsword and was a beam that did more damage the father you were from the target, it would be great. As it stands, our sad little bubble wand is a necessary evil. I use when I have to because it’s all I have.
I’d personally love to see the longbow implemented for a Guardian weapon since it’s already a spirit weapon we can call upon like the hammer, sword and shield.
I know a lot of players are new to the idea of cross-profession combinations, so I wrote an article about it. It’s specific to the Guardian because that’s the nature of my column.
