I’ve not had any problems with crashes until the update yesterday, and now I am having constant crashes in the non HoT maps

I think that being able to have a monument to such a well loved man in your Guild Hall would be a wonderful and marvellous thing, and I do hope so very much that ANet will be able to implement this for you.
I am very sorry that there have been negative reactions to your post – it isn’t as if you have asked to have anything in the open world of the game, but just for some way to commemorate him in the privacy of your own Guild Hall.
Huge condolences for your loss to all of you who knew him, and especially to his wife and children.
