Hey I noticed Rangers seem to have a pet for every situation..except one that removes boons from mobs. Is there one I’m not aware of ?

Heya I’m working on a Mesmer “tanking” build and I’m wondering if anyone has tried matching the dmg absorb from phant defender with the various sources of protection boon available. And that 80% is before you take armor/toughness into consideration.

Any boon removal abilities for the Engi?

It always frustrates me to be fighting a boss mob with a bunch of people and no one is purging the regen on it. I’ve looked and I cant find any listed ability that has boon removal. I guess there is a high level sigil that gives a chance to remove a boon on crit but tis like lvl 65 min..

Am I missing anything or is book removal just not in the cards for engineers?

There are so many good skills to choose from I find I never have close to enough room to even consider the dodgeback type skills. But I do think they add valuable movement component that make battles more interesting, less stand and auto attack. folks dodge even when they dont need to cause its fun. Id like a new slot added to the skillbar for specific skills that offer a withdraw options, like the rangers lightning reflexes, Mesmers decoy or Charr racial hidden pistol
