Those late to the game will have less play time on a older title

Only if they decide to have less play time. There’s no subscription and the game isn’t going anywhere. They have all the time in the world to play, if they want to, for as long as they want to, regardless of when they start.

Kind of a false statement there. I have been back playing after being gone for 5 years and already looking to step away after just two weeks. Being so far behind and lost and limited is a turn down.

Story missions too unfair for solo players

Not to hijack the topic but since it does entail topic I will go ahead and ask it.

Did I miss something when starting Living World season 3 that in order to do the first 5 chapters I have to use gems for each one or I skip straight to chapter 6?

As some have pointed out, I am fairly new to game. I have had the account/game since launch and played for a great while back then and just recently got my account active and started playing again after 5 years.

Trying to find the right profession for me to enjoy and to thrive on is another issue which might also hinder my outlook of game.

Currently only have ranger to 80 and kinda frustrates me picking a ranged class that does better or is better with melee weapons.

I am only asking this to get opinions on the game itself.

I am under the impression that this game is not suited for those that don’t want to raid or PvP. Dungeons might be of interests at some point but for now I will skip.

Other than story lines, zone events, and HP trains that people do,there really isn’t anything to do at max level? Or I am just in the dark about things at 80?
