It’s kind of odd to me that you can equip armor on the Hero panel by double-clicking it, but if you double-click a piece of armor you have equipped already then nothing happens. It’d be pretty convenient as well. I wonder why something like this was left out of the game to begin with.

I was wondering around today and it looks like they closed the entrance to this. Unfortunate.

So I was exploring southsun cove, looking for the orichalcum veins. Since I didn’t know any better, I was looking for the orichalcum vein in ember passage by wandering around the karka hive’s entrance. I actually found a hidden cave entrance.

After venturing inside, there was a tricky jump over a hole deep enough to kill you. [img]http://i.imgur.com/psIPf.jpg[/img]

I explored a bit and found a few areas you can get stuck in.

And in some places the floor height doesn’t match the floor height.

But the really neat things are the hidden passages to ember passage.

This one will almost kill you when going down it, if you don’t land on a ledge at just the right height to save you.

But the really neat one is this one:

It may not look like much, but it’ll drop you right next to the orichalcum vein in ember passage without having to fight your way through an army of karka. You just have to survive some tricky jumps that will probably kill you instead.

And also, all this empty space seems like the perfect place to stick a jumping puzzle into.

EDIT: Huh. The BBCode isn’t working…

EDIT2: With some fall damage reduction and some tricky ledge dropping I managed to get down to the bottom of that hole that would instantly kill you.

I appear to be stuck down here now, though. Anyone want to throw me a rope ladder and also implement climbable rope ladders into gw2?

How does Dynamic Level Adjustment work?

I know that stats and such are reduced, but I’m curious about specifics. Which stats get reduced and by how much? I’d imagine the base stats are probably lowered to what they’d be on a normal character of that level. Gear stats, at least the base ones like damage and armor are reduced similarly, but what about the myriad stat boosts? Would a level 80 with a superior sigil of bloodlust go around trivializing low level areas with what is an extreme amount of power at that point in the game?
