I had originally assumed a lot of her (Jennah) cool attitude comes from being a high level mesmer. People’s minds are her playground. I feel this is especially true if a lot of her early years was spent in PvP.

I also found her death too soon, and too contrived.

I think that’s my issue with her death, not that she died or that she sacrificed herself, it’s that it happened far too quickly. I would have added another two or three missions to the story. You go from “Hey new guy!” to “Let’s go have an adventure friend!” to “I will die so you can live!” in about that many missions. It’s just too accelerated of an arc to really feel right.

I didn’t like her at first but did like how she changed a bit at the end. I still felt her death was a little too fast to have really felt her sacrifice.

The vigil version (which is the one I did first) felt perfect (and gave me goosebumps).

I’m hoping the whispers version felt as powerful as the vigil version.

I like kai for short.

My male elementalist is named Idrassil.

So far I’ve only unlocked one skin, I have 8 toons, none of them are max level yet (so their gear is still getting upgraded regularly) and only 2 toons use that weapon with any regularity. And still I see myself getting tired of them quickly (commitment issues).

I consider myself super casual. Some kind person gave me first place after he had his title and I returned the favor to other players. And I still played for the loot and eventually got first place on my own. Some people arent super competitive and some people dont want luck and twitch games. It’s all ok. For those who are super competitive this doesn’t take much away from you. I think the helpful community makes this a great game.

Like all the other BL tools it’s soulbound. Since I have 9 characters and play them all off and on I won’t bother with them.

I have 8 toons (commitment issues lol). I would like the tools to be account bound in the way the new zenith weapon skins from achievements are.

Funny how I just came across this thread. Two days ago my best friend says he was considering buying the game and asked if I was still enjoying it. I told him I loved it EXCEPT for ONE thing: I get rushed a lot during personal stories and die before I can do much. Much like what many people have said earlier in this thread: I feel I die way too much during my personal stories and it is taking away from my enjoyment of them. At first I thought it was just because I am a newbish or I can go long periods without playing the game and am rusty. Glad to know I am not the only one.
