Artificing craft is a real pain to level through with the 4 log requirement. They need to return to 3 for us poor – read broke – Artificers. Soft wood logs are very over priced in TP.
This is why you level artificing with potions and stones instead of gear
Well I’m also currently working on weaponsmithing (its around 200) on my level 52 thief and I already got 400 artificer. What I can say is that 1) I mean technically I guess it would be to find a guild and have them give the mats to you, otherwise farm them, and 2) Define ‘worth’. I found it ‘worth’ it to get 400 artificer because of the 10 levels I got in ~1-2 hours. Now although I did not make any money, I found that it was “worth” it because I got to level 80 much faster than otherwise.
i see, by " worth " i ment is it benifical to try get (for example: level 35 rare daggers) if id probs replace them in a few levels. of course at 80 its worth having it so u can get new weapons as soon as you ding. just findinf it abit annoying spending hours and hours farming ore for only 10 crafting levels
i found a website for some kid of crafting guide and apparently i need 500 copper ignites for 1 – 50
Well I would then say no it is not worth it as you can easily just buy whatever weapons you need from the TP for only ~2-3s at most.
