After the patch this morning, my game crashed with a memory error after roughly 30 minutes of playing.
Now it’s not crashing per se. When I log in, I can do stuff for about a minute, but then the game just freezes. I can’t do anything or click anything and I have to close it via the task manager. I don’t see any crash logs being generated when it freezes. I’m on the 64 bit client with 64 bit Windows 7. I had no problems last night or even for the past week really. It’s a consistent freeze, in that as soon as I’ve logged in the past five or six times, I have up to one minute to do whatever I need to do or the game freezes. Is anyone else suffering from this?

Bumping because I’m still getting this crash, now outside of WvW as well. Some times when there is a large number of players on my screen, it crashes. Not really sure what I can do. I’ve repaired, reinstalled, confirmed I’m using the 64-bit client…
Your posted log did not seem to indicate you were using the 64-bit client. (States GW2.exe.)
If you have been all along, you might consider contacting the Tech CS Team. If you haven’t until now, maybe it will help.
Good luck.
Thanks. Yeah the .exe I’m launching leads me to believe it’s the 64 bit version.
Have you considered using the 64-bit client (accessed via the ‘My Account – Content’ tab above)?
I could have sworn I was using the 64-bit client by default. Am I not? I downloaded it so long ago, that I have no idea. I’ll download it now and see.
EDIT: Just double checked. I’m launching from GW2-64.exe, which is the 64 client.
Here is the log file.

A few weeks ago people had this problem after the patch. It was acknowledged and subsequently fixed by the devs. I played WvW for two weeks with no crashes or problems even with enormous 3 way blob fights.
Tonight however, I’ve crashed twice in WvW, both times with during a fight with an enemy group. There was probably 50-60 people all around total.
I’ve included a DxDiag.txt, unsure what else I need to provide. Let me know and I will grab it and put it here.
Is anyone else having this problem?

If it’s red, it’s dead. I always enjoy the tears of duelers as our zerg mows over them.
The large queue is created by players all gathering up into few top servers. It is not Anet fault and is not telling anything about world linking. If you, as a player, choose to go into most populated server, you have picked to play with queue. Accept it or pick smaller server.
wut.
I was on a small server prior to the merge. Now we have queues of 50+ at all hours of the day or night on every map. I suspect in a couple weeks that number will decrease to thirty.
Queues were always part of WvW so I don’t know why ppl are so upset about satying few mins in queue and enjoy huge blob fights ;D
That’s absolutely not true. People on low tier servers have never encountered queues before and are sitting there for an hour plus waiting to get in.
We’ve had small queues on my server (up to about 10), but every day has been consistently 70+ since the merge. We can’t get our guild into any WvW lands for anything because we just get mega scattered. We had an event the other night planned, that over half our attendees sat in queue for TWO HOURS before saying “this is dumb, we’re leaving.”
The WvW server infrastructure needs updating to accommodate the vast increase in numbers.
We had half our guild sit in queue for quite literally 2+ hours before the majority said “F this.” and logged off.
I mean I get it, it’s reset night, something big has just been changed, and we have to let the dust settle… but it still doesn’t really leave a good feeling.
