Thanks but I was looking for something a little less obvious, no offence meant but I tried those before posting hehe

I tried the TDR fix but no joy unfortunatly

I just logged in again…low and behold CRASH! I then looked in my event viewer and found 2 errors:

event id:4101 Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

and

event id:4109 Application Gw2.exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware.

any idea’s???

I have tried it yes, found nothing wrong. Might try a re-install anyway, its the only thing I’ve not done yet.

OMG someone please fix this!
I’ve had this new game for 3 days and I cant even play for 2 minutes without crashing. Maybe I should try and get a refund because as first impressions go…this does not equal a nice experience.
3 days of trying to problem solve this issue just in case its something my end even though my pc is rock solid for EVERYTHING else!!!
So much for being exited to play hey.

can anyone help?

I just logged in again the same lag occurred but this time no crash as such, instead the screen filicked to desktop with the game sound still playing and the ingame cursor still active but i could not access the game again either by clicking on the taskbar icon or alt tabbing etc…Please help

EDIT – thought I should add that fps is fine 40 – 60 and My pc is rock solid in all other games I play on ultra.

I am new to Guildwars 2,
I installed for the first time yesterday but I am getting horrid lag. Its kind of like rubber banding but with a longer spike every time I move. I then crashed and a crash report was sent. I also have the dmp file in my GW2 directory but i cant read it.
Does anyone know of a way I can get information out of the dmp file? Its impossible to play at the minute.
