Well, having those horns “attached” to the head would be better. They don’t make much sense as now, imho.
That was my main reason for not bothering at all once I found out. Sure it could be hard to get a nice fit with all the hairstyles and helmets and what-not, but things needs to make sense. A non-radiant halo and floating horns that are not embedded in the forehead… I dunno, it does not make much sense to me.
I can understand if this was rushed through (which it looks to me) to get the job done, but I would rather they spend more time making things like this than trying to meet a deadline.
I thought they where potions? Don’t all potions behave that way?
The buff potions I use never fizzle off while zoning, and works in all instances whatsoever.
This is still a flair item, even if it is a triggered one. If it was advertised as a hovering dulll golden ring, then I would have no problem with how it looks, even if it is placed a bit iffy. But they specifically called it a halo.
The constant need to reapply the halo/horns effect is very annoying.
So, it’s just like mini’s then? Not even good enough as a cosmetic >.<’
Surely anet can come up with an “always use” option or something… … less and less interested in this, think I’ll use my heirlooms on bags
Yeah, I see no point in the heirlooms besides using them for bags.
Going that far would be bad of course. I would not want to play if everybody ran around with a glaring sun above their heads, and I doubt anyone would use them if it were so.
The radiance from the Dwayna wings however is much more what I was thinking.
I am not a big fan of flair items, but if you are going to provide something, then at least the visual should be unobstructed. Besides, calling it a halo is a bit daft. That thing is no glorious circle of light, it is more a dull golden ring. Where is the vibrant shine like the Wings of Dwayna has?
And it pops off when zoning? Makes no sense, man, makes no sense at all.

A friend of mine has a theory, that the lack of people in a zone will reset resource nodes (exception being static ones). Sounds plausible, since the kitten Soutsun nodes keep moving about.
And I use orrmaps.com as a resource-mapping tool. Been using it for months now, easy to use and can find all maps for a server. Needs a collab function though..
