Guild Wars 2

We’re looking for a few good men and women to join our new community. Gamer Groups, a recently launched website, is using Guild Wars 2 to beta test this newly created site. The site when completely finished will give other guilds the ability to host a free website, run tournament’s, leagues, and competitions.

We’re a guild on darkhaven, but world doesn’t matter. We’re looking for avid PvP players as well as avid PvE Players. We are fairly active in WvW so we are definitely interested in gaining players from Darkhaven.

having the exact same problem, funny thing is my gf has almost the same identical computer as mine and hasn’t had any issues

I wouldn’t mind a new map or some type of map rotation

I basically only play Gw2 for the WvW, season one is what brought me back. So those of you that are anti another WvW season are killing the game for alot of us and we’ll just all run off and find something else competitive to play.

same thing here, getting freezes when playing my ranger, played my ranger last night and didn’t have the issue so it seems to be something with the ranger character. Mine doesn’t completely crash the game, but it freezes for about 5 seconds like it’s going to crash then starts running again like nothing happened

i’ve got an amd fx-8350 and a radeon r9-290x so it doesn’t look like it’s anything hardware specific either

i got mine done the night Week 2 started without really playing for the achievements, granted on my days off I probably invest more time in it than OP does, but still I didn’t really find them hard to obtain at all.

it’s probably nothing on your end and a result of alot of server traffic, I’ve noticed on weekends i lose alot of fps at times

it doesn’t help this game is poorly optimized, i’ve got a beast of a computer that should be able to blow this game out of the water, but get it in WvW and highly populated area’s and fps drops

and i figured that was the case, but they might want to specify that somewhere

i was just wondering if the gem rewards were only for gems bought with real money or if these purchases also include gems traded for gold in game?

well i’m able to play fine on my own now, my problem was caused when the gf and I were trying to play together which is how we play guild wars 2, one of us can play fine, but as soon as we both try to login one or both of us have connection issues and lag that makes the game completely unplayable….worked fine yesterday morning when we were playing together so not really sure what changed or if this is some work around arena.net implemented to try and fix bandwidth issues

only reason i bought guild wars 2 was because it was a game her and I can play together….so not really much good to me now that we both can’t play the game at the same time

been having the same issues since about 11 o’clock cst last night on darkhaven, woke up this morning and issues are still there. No one last night seemed to be having any issue with the exception of my gf and myself. This morning I ran connection tests and have reset everything and ran another connection tests, and everything checks out fine on my end so it’s something on arena.net’s end.

Nice to see that some people have been having this problem for two months and nothing has been said or done.

my gf is having the exact same problem, she can’t use the forgot password option cause it wants a character name when kinda hard to have a character name when you’ve never played the game before, and the password reset option isn’t working (she’s not getting an e-mail) so their system must think she doesn’t have an account or I don’t know what.

iKashew, have you had any luck or figured out a workaround?
