Once again a lovely jumping puzzle, a bit easier than the Clock tower.
It’s more forgiving, if I end up on an almost melted snowflake, I can just jump faster a couple of times and get away from it.

It’s shameful really. I don’t understand how Arenanet’s testers can say this is “ready” for us to play. Seriously? I was in an overflow like many people, suffering disconnects and all. I waited, and waited, and waited just to see the event skip completely. Going to the Southsun Shoal area was even worse: lag, invisible enemies, invisible friends, etc, etc, etc. I know I will not be attenting any more of these OH SO EXCLUSIVE 1 time events. It’s really, really low and unconsiderate, especially for the great majority like me who had to bear with the kitteny servers and kitteny lag.

Define: Event skipped completely?
I waited and waited and waited for (over?) an hour, the event box suddenly said: Go talk to this guy to go to Southsun Cove, but we still waited, we had 10 people left in the whole overflow LA eventually, the event just started and we still completed it with the 10 people.

Maybe it’s like the mad king’s labyrinth, My lvl 80 character did get a lot more XP from events/kills than my lvl 30 one.
Stuff I got on my lvl 30 also was around the level of my character, except for some items in the chest.
But yeah, for this stuff we’ll have to wait and see.

After my Sylvari I also did
Asura: was easy after my sylvari’s first time.
Norn: camera spazzed out a couple of times.
Charr : Just had to figure out where paws land and where you jump.

Still an amazing puzzle!

If I make a screenshot, log out – apply the code – log back in, will my camera still be the same so I can actually see if it works?

No buffs at all

Took me 3 hours and wanted to just give up so many times, but seriously I felt so good after finally making it!

To whoever made/came up with this, a HUGE thumbs up!

Hey

I don’t really use my town clothing, but I’d love to just “have” the special items (celebration hat/Devil horns) somewhere without having to store them in my main bank tabs.
So my suggestion would be a tab like the Minipets ones for this.
Or just have an extra tab in the Black Lion Trading Company with “purchased free items”.
Maybe even just an NPC that keeps the “blueprints” of the item and reproduces them for a small fee just like in GW1.
