Well it is a shame, just thought it could renew the ’’bond’’ between the player and his/her hero/heroine and make them play more.
But as you say it is very unlikely it would happen..

I was thinking about something GW2 doesn’t have and it’s race and name change.
I am thinking that you could simply pay an amount of gems and redo your hero from scratch but ofcourse your lvl and proffession will stay the same.
It would work like the ‘’Total Make-Over kit’’ and it would be really nice to change you tiny asura or giant nord into something more fitting for your gamestyle.
Since you are changing race your skillpoints would be resetted but not your traits since that will give you a to much of advantage in gold.
To be more precisly it would be creating a new hero with height and facial hair and all that, but now you will start at your current lvl and have the same gear same proffession skill but a different name.
I hope you enjoy my idea and please give me feedback so we can disscuss this topic.
