It’s My Third day of playing and I am new to the game.

Hello, I’m on the Jade Quarry server and this is my first time playing GW in general. Never payed the first one ha ha so, I guess you can say I’m late
I’m already on level Seventeen Guardian and I am so lost, I mean where do I start? I mean I did one story quest but a player told me to wait till level 30 I have no clue know if its even right advice. Frankly, I don’t even know what build I’m suppose to have or if I should join a guild so I wouldn’t have to play alone. So far I’ve been doing those heart quests. I wanted to do those major event things like fight a dragon, but it seems I have to be like level 80 do do any of the fun stuff.
If any of you have any tips, or experience on what to do first I will be grateful.
