Guild Wars 2

So my account was banned a really long time ago. And my friends convinced me to play again. I purchased a new copy and tried to create an account with it but the system refused to accept any passwords I entered. Then I saw there was an option to link a key to my account. Doing so allowed me to change my display name and password and I thought maybe could I play now. However, the game still sees me as banned and I have lost the serial key (cannot use it anymore).

I’ve submitted a ticket to support, but what now. It’s already bad enough that I lost my old account, even more so that I lost another one before I could even download the client!

I logged in today hoping to make some progress on my legendary and a runic blade..god I want that runic blade. But deep down, I couldn’t stay logged in for more than 5 minutes.

Because I know that if I were to ever get a runic blade, it would be overshadowed by ascended gear. I would be farming for 2 things. A skin and then the stats.

What is going to happen to all the prestigious exotic items that players have poured their lives into? When I first heard of the Triforge pendant, I poured all my time and effort into getting it. Now what? Is there an ascended amulet out there that completely overshadows it? Apparently there is a ring similar to it. So why not an amulet too.

Please remove ascended gear. Or just talk to us. Please. This thread is the largest thread I have seen in any game for a long time. And seeing no official response worries me that we have been left in the dark and will just have to get used to it.

I have mixed feelings about this update. More bad than good. I am overly excited for the new content but I am also disgusted at the idea of new “better” gear.

I bought, played and spread the game to my friends under the premise that there was no gear grinding. That once you hit 80 and got exotics you had it all and only needed to improve your skill as a player or work for new armor skins.

I’m a guildwars1 fan and I loved the mechanics from the first game. Skill based game play. I hope this doesn’t get overshadowed by the new gear that you are releasing. Once you begin releasing new and improved gear. When will it stop? Exotics should have been the absolute best gear you could have gotten. Legendary weapons for their skin.

What is the point of crafting exotic jewelry. weapons or armor if the best [anything] can be gotten from a dungeon.

Shadow Refuge is still bugged (I believe)

When used, it creates an AoE that pulses health and stealth. The AoE Circle itself lasts for a short amount of time and at minimum will stack at least 10 seconds of stealth before it disappears. But after the AoE Circle has disappeared, if you step outside of the now imaginary AoE circle, you instantly lose your stealth and become visible again.

I am not sure if this is intended or if it’s just oversight. I’ve heard people say that they can leave Shadow Refuge and still retain stealth but I have not yet been able to do it once.
