Do you think gold sellers pay for their accounts ? There are many other ways to protect ingame economy than restricting features to paying customers.

For me this is a big message saying: ‘We don’t trust you newcomer! We take your money though and give you access only to content that wouldn’t harm our community.’ A poorly thought through business practice.
You buy a new game on Steam, they don’t tell you ‘wait, you can play this game in 4 days’. And both retailers and customers are protected by law against stolen credit cards in most countries.
This is a brand new account, I wonder what ‘safe guard new account’ would mean ? Protecting other player from me, or me from other players ? I was told this game rocks, so much for the unwelcoming start…
I pre-ordered the extension yesterday, and thus given access to the core game, and I was unhappily surprised to see a number of core features locked for 4 days. 4 days of no Trading Post, no Mail to my fellow guildmates and friends and more.
I paid with good money access to the game, and still I feel like I’m considered like a unfamous gold-seller or possible scammer… This is a rude way to welcome new paying players.
Am I the only one being annoyed by this ?
