[NA] LF Static Raid members

We started a static raid group and there are about 7 of us consistently raiding together as of now. I would like to get a few more members on this static squad readily available just to increase consistency as we have to ‘PUG’ a few extra bodies. We usually run the mirrored team composition (2 chrono 2 PS 2 Druid 4 Tempest and ofc moving condi’s in and out of the party in supplementation of the tempest as well as magi tempest over a druid). We are recruiting for all positions on the raid team, and encourage you to come out and join us.

Time: Everyday 1 hourish after Reset as some of us like to venture off to Fractals until the team is 100% savvy and is able to clear all 4 wings easily, then we can help our fellow comrades on the team who didn’t get to do the main push.

Things we are looking for:
Multi-Classes
Decent DPS
EXP on your classes
EXP or New to raids – we dont mind sitting down and helping people learn
Discord use mandatory – mic use isn’t
Don’t be stuck up, we talk a lot of crap among ourselves on discord so have fun with it instead of taking 2016 offense to it.

I think these are all really good things, keep em coming and this post might actually get an official response… At the rate this game is going it will be dead by 2017. I think compared to how many copies of GW2 (Standard) and GW2 Heart Of Thorn sold is probably like 65%… Many people have quit before HoT, and HoT is way worse than the classic version of the game.. We paid roughly $10.00 USD per map… Not worth it.

I believe anet has done a decent job this time around, however, I would like to see more rewarding content. As of right now you are able to complete the raid for decent rewards one time per week, then continue it until you shard cap. You can do dungeons for an unrewarding experience, and yes I know dungeons are stale content, and should be easy farm mode for everyone at this stage of the game but there should be some incentive given to play those every once in a while. Fractals you can do every day if you like, but only get rewards from the daily. The fractal encryptions have been increased to compensate a bit, but I believe that the concept of fractals has been greatly faulted.

With that being said, firstly, I would like to touch up on fractals. Everyone is farming the easy ones. As with electricity it is human nature to take the path of least resistance. We need something challenging, yet rewarding and repeatable. Im not talking an easy farm, but if you accomplish the tasks at hand, you should be rewarded. This promotes guilds and groups of players to form together to enjoy aspects of the game more. So instead of being cut off from all rewards after your first completion it should work in a tiered method where you get Diminishing Returns for helping your friends opposed to absolutely nothing but a warm fuzzy feeling. In today’s Guild Wars 2 its more of a casual passing your friends by waving and leaving. Fractals to do all the dailies takes about 30-40 minutes and the rewards are RNGSus and a few gold. The 30 40 50 fractals I used to do yielded me good drops. It felt good going in there and seeing ascended armor chests, even if they weren’t mine. Fractals need to go back to the 10 level scaling for rewards honestly, and those levels should require at least a random fractal and a boss fractal (Maw, Trin, or Duo). Maybe spice it up and give us some SAB bosses as a fractal? The code is there, might as well use it.

With dungeons you could farm them every single day with rewards peaking about 40-50g per day on average. This took a long time- about 3-4 hours with a good team, and about 8 hours with pugs who arent on a communication network being coordinated. Ultimately there was a lot of work to be done to get that kind of cash flow going, but now we rely on events such as wintersday to get a decent chunk of change. Even still it takes like 2 hours to farm 600 boxes. These rewards should go back to what they used to be or increased to a flat 1g per dungeon. This gives the F2P guys a chance to farm up some coin so they can gem store heart of thorns if they or their parents dont have the money for them to enjoy what you guys have available (I know its a rare case and you have a business to run, but that doesnt mean they cant throw 10 bucks or so at the gemstore every so often something new and exciting comes out).

Raids are doing great, the rewards are pretty nice, at least until the double rewards runs out. They are challenging, take skill, take coordination, and require people to be nearly flawless. The rewards match the skill requirement. However, this can only be done once a week so after that you once again have no incentive to get back in there and wreck things and help people out. At least give people daily boss chests inside the raid, that would be cool.

Lastly I know there are other areas of the game to explore such as PvP and WvW, but those, at least in my perspective, are like mini games. They are fun things to do between other things. Other people say the same about PVE. I would like to open all this up for discussion, and see what kind of input people would like aside from myself for GW2.

[Bug] Lupicus Necrid Bolt hits in melee

Is his necrid blast fixed yet? He gets 5 auto attacks off and its pretty much party wipe.. Phase 2 and 3 are too dangerous to res people in.. However with him not being able to aim his dome worth a crap its not terrible, but this makes it near impossible to carry a team when they all dont know how to dodge and you are playing off the LFG system. The way this currently is has a good benefit of hindering path sellers, but they mostly just cheese lupi now anyway. The down-side is though for newer players, they do not know how to manage its attacks so they can’t exactly survive past phase 2. A lot of people learn the lupi fight these days by having one or two solid players who can take him down and watching their dodging and such. Which is honestly the lesser of 2 evils? People making money for soloing things, or people not being able to enjoy the dungeon with new players?

Kicked at last boss - Griefing report

I was in an arah run at 8:35 (server time) and was kicked at the last boss (Path 2). The Names were ******, * ******, and **********. Please ban these guys for doing this.. They cost me a lot of time and effort and kicked me out of spite with no warning. The end boss was at 25% life and they removed me from the run.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Legion Of Doom [LOD] is an active endgame PVE guild recruiting on Sanctum of Rall. We are a 7 year old community that played Guild Wars 1 together and has stayed together into Guild Wars 2. In Guild Wars we were also known as Club of a Thousand Pandas [LOD?]. We were a DOASC guild as well as holders of several records in Guild Wars not only for DOA but most elite areas as both Legion of Doom and Club of A Thousand Pandas.

We are looking for active members that not only enjoy Dungeons, but PvE, WvW, FoTM and Group Events. We always have people in guild theory crafting and coming up with new and faster ways to do everything. While members have a variety of other interests from PvP to WvW and beyond, dungeon play is the primary focus of the guild. We have weekly scheduled guild missions on Saturdays at 6 PM server time.

We expect members to represent LOD and to participate in Guild activities. We have a Teamspeak server that we expect all members to use for guild runs. If you are interested in joining LOD, please fill out an application on our forums (http://forums.lodgw.com) and an officer will contact you in game.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

TS3 is our primary tool for running dungeons and socializing as a guild; most guild activities are organized through Teamspeak. All members must be able to use Teamspeak3, and a headset or standing microphone is greatly encouraged.
Have one of the four following professions with a minimum of exotic Berserker gear runed for DPS:
-Elementalist
-Guardian
-Mesmer
-Warrior

If you do not have one of the above, your character must be a DPS spec and be recommended by a current member.
Our basic dungeon speedclear setup consists of 1 Guardian, 1 Mesmer, 1-2 Warriors, and 1-2 Elementalists, while more advanced groups employ tactics using Rangers, Thieves, and Engineers. We encourage members to have as many leveled and geared characters as possible to make our players more flexibile and have a better understanding of game mechanics, but we do not have any other character requirements beyond the basic ones listed here.
We expect that the majority of one’s time be spent representing LOD. We don’t mind if you have a storage guild or would like to play with other friends on occasion, but one should be representing the guild during most play. 100% Representation is required during dungeon runs (including PUG runs).

That 2-3% is for trash mobs I.E. Spiders in Ascalonian Catacombs, and then the queen would be the 200/hit.

Arena Net and Players alike,

I have been doing some thinking and I think that nerfing “Zerker” is not the answer. I have something a lot better than that in mind that would take this game to the next level of awesome. I want you guys to all read this and leave feedback.

Ok, so my idea is to incorporate a new option when you go and select a dungeon as this is the gripe/complaint most people have with the zerker meta. Call it Explorable (Hard Mode). Now the husks that were put into the game for the wurm event have a tremendous amount of toughness and zerkers on a good day only hit them for about 200 damage with 100 blades. So why not amplify the toughness for “trash mobs” by about 2-3%??

That covers basic mobs, coppers, and silver bordered enemies, now lets roll into the real fun part!! Amplify bosses to mimic those husks. This would require new team compositions all over the place and completely new development of tactics! No more need to sit against a wall and spam FGS skill 4 into a corner, because it will hardly do anything! Imagine a Lupi fight where you dont just have to sit there, wait for him to cross his arms and press feedback and game over!

Now the last part: Scale the dungeon rewards by x2 or x3 to make players want to do it! Give better chances at exotics, rares, or even ascended items for completion of certain dungeons and bosses within!! Now for open world content – People just run whatever they want anyway, so i think that could/should/would be better off left as it is! The main issue was team rejection because people weren’t berserker, and now you have an unparalleled solution!

The more people who post on here the more likely A-net will look at it and consider, if you have more to add to this please post below, and any positive or negative feedback is greatly appreciated!

Myself and a guildie were sitting at end boss for Arah path 4 approximately 8:50 PM CST on SOR Server after having to duo Dwanya cuz the team couldn’t handle it. So we then opened the run to the public @ dwanya, nobody joined up, we got to bloodstone, re-advertised the party for people needing Dungeon Master title, and 3 people joined up and kicked the party leader from the party..

I believe that this problem should be remedied ASAP. This absorbed 3 hours of my time that I will never be able to get back. The party leader should NOT be able to be kicked from the instance, much like the amazing system in GW1.

So, I lost: 60 tokens, 3.26 Gold, 3 hours of my life, and my enthusiasm for this game. Please fix the party system, and also fix the method at which the Kick option is done up.

The only culprit i remember’s name is “Heitred”
On a side note: There is a bug that is allowing other instances to merge with parties and pull people out of dungeons that are already running.
