Guild Wars 2

I already assumed it might have to do with my overclock so I reset it to factory settings for both processor and memory.

But anyway I would highly doubt it’s a problem with my hardware since the other games I play I have no issues.
C&C 3, Skyrim, LoTR (Don’t laugh), Dead Space 1 &2, Diablo 3, Torchlight, and even my GPU benchmark “Valley Benchmark 1.0” have no issues and don’t cause any crashes / freeze.

But thanks for the suggestion. Could this just be a mess up on GW2 side?

Any news or ideas?
I went into the best detail of my custom built PC and drivers even the repair exe stuff.
So any Dev’s out there care to suggest something?

This makes the game unplayable.

Like to add I’ve also tried doing the GW2 Repair.exe and same results.

First spec’s:
CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K Sandy Bridge-E – RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Redline 32GB 2133 – MOBO: ASUS Rampage IV Extreme
SSD: Crucial M4 256GB – GPU: EVGA GTX 680 SLI (Surround)

The problem I’m experiencing is randomly at times 1 min to 10 mins the game just freezes forcing me to manually restart my PC.

Graphics during freeze are perfect and even the sound is playing normally.
But I lose total control over my PC I can’t even ALT + TAB or CTRL + ALT + DEL.

What I mean by graphics during freeze are perfect it’s like I’m looking at a screen shot of the game.

Nothing is written to the error log (guessing it’s an error log anyway, shows crashes).

PC Temps are perfect even the GPU’s. I put them up on screen when crashes started to see if I was over heating and I’m not.

Latest GPU drivers and all other current.

So I’m at a loss and why I’m making this post to see if anyone else has or had this same issue or a fix / suggestions for this.

FPS 50-60
(EDIT: I forgot to overclock my GPU’s so same as above but OC’d I’m FPS 90 – 115)
If I set to “Best Performance”
FPS 120
(EDIT Same: FPS 165 – 170)

Fixed my problem.

First off I’ll post my specs:

Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit
Memory: 32Gig
Processor: i7-3930K @4.8GHz
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
GPU: SLI – NVIDIA Geforce GTX 680 4GB Driver 310.90 (Current)
Surround screen.

Any other spec’s just post and I’ll get them to you.

Now my issue.
I had little odd graphical issues with the last drivers for my GPU’s (310.70) and hoped the new update would fix them.
Well it’s far far far worse.
Now when I start the game (launcher no issues) 2 of my monitors go dark (off mode) and primary monitor remains on but blackish sound remains and sounds normal.

Almost impossible to get it to close, only way I found was to start up GW2 on my laptop and something happens and allows me to crash it. Guess more then one login at the same time closes the first, but what ever it works.

I can’t find any other reports of this issue with the drivers and GW2.

So now my question.

Does anyone know what is going on here?

Or.

Does anyone know how to revert to an old driver or where I can get it?

If I’m stuck only playing Diablo 3 I’ll go mad.
