I can live with the timed stuff and the fact that some times I may miss out on things due to it. What I can’t accept is missing out due to an error by arena net posting incorrect info!

I logged in tonight with the intention of completing this before the 16th. Fair enough mistakes happen but please give the people mislead by the error the chance to get the final part of this living story achievement.

It is so frustrating to have completed every part of the story just to miss it by one small part which I thought I had another couple of days to obtain!

Hi, I was on Desolation EU for a while and think you have made a good choice! I only moved (to Gandara EU) to be on same server as my friends. I still often guest on Desolation to do Orr events ect and it is always really busy.

Can’t comment on server being down though.

It would be good to be able to check other players achievements and possibly link them if only for bragging rights and friendly competition.

The flip side of the coin as TheDaiBish points out is that if dungeon achievements are included would we start seeing people requesting an achievement link for invite?

Personally I dont mind the system as is but if others could view my achievements it would encourage me to go out and seek some of the ones I perhaps otherwise would not have.

Yeah I am in a similar situation and feel for me personally that the laurel system gives me the perfect balance of having something to work towards/log in daily for and yet isn’t too time constrictive to work around real life commitments.

Oh, and the game does NOT start at maximum level. Take your time to get to level 80. It’s not a race.

I was going to write something similar to the above but I think Garambola.2461 has it spot on!

I agree with not pushing her towards a race and profession. I encouraged my gf to play Asura for similar reasons to what you mentioned and she changed race straight away for something as simple as not liking the voice!

With GW2 being so focused on discovery and exploration I would say go along with her and enjoy seeing her discover things for herself. Trying to help too much can sometimes take away from the sense of discovery and the excitement that comes with it!
