Trying to do the achievement run for shadow of the dragon (which is already hard enough), but now it’s been made almost impossible for me with certain telegraphs / animation not appearing at all. So I’m getting hit by invisible knock ups, knock downs and taking loads of damage.

Not entirely sure whats going on here, cause it was working fine originally and I haven’t changed any settings.

Guild Halls could be so much more.

I feel like the current iteration of guild halls is a misfire. They could of been so much more and satisfied a certain need for organized competitive guild vs. guild (and no, I’m not talking about the dreadful guild arenas, or horrible stronghold mode). I imagine that guild halls could of been what carbine tried (but failed for various reasons) with war fronts. However instead of 40v40, guild halls could easily be 20v20. For those that don’t know how warfronts worked in wildstar, they were a 40v40 pvp mode where you build up your “base” and challenge other guilds. Both guilds have their bases which you need to siege and control certain points, with a large neutral area in-between the two.

I imagine that guild hall vs. guild hall would be a mix of wildstar and gw1, where the objective would be to siege each others guild halls and kill the guild lord. You could have a control point in the neutral middle area between guild halls (similar like the flag stand on the gw1 gvg maps) that grant some sort of bonus, perhaps morale could be reintroduced. Rallying and res rules would have to be adjusted.

Many GW1 players are hungry for REAL gvg, something that gw2 has yet to deliver, and guild halls are a good way to introduce it.

Currently I reside on blackgate, and I’m a returning player (haven’t played the game in awhile, so I’m out of date on what the meta is like, but I’m re-learning the game quickly). My previous guild was LotD (lords of the dead) on blackgate, and I mostly did WvW back in the day.

I’d like to join a guild that is competitive (but chill) in both WvW and PvX. I’m interested in the upcoming raids and working on ascended gear. My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available most days of the week.

My time zone is currently EST.

I have the following level 80s:

Warrior (my current main, but I’ll play whatever is required of me)
Guardian
Revenant
Engineer
Necromancer

I have a preference towards playing “heavy” / more sturdier characters, but will run whatever armor / rune / sigil / build / play style that is required of me.

You can find me in-game under the character name “Hurt Box”, or using my account name (Fenix.9246).

Note: I’d prefer the guild be on the blackgate server for obvious reasons, but If you’re a guild that’s interested more so in the pve aspect, don’t require a server transfer, I’m not against joining either.

Thanks.

For whatever reason the gw2setup launcher starts up, downloads, and then stops / crashes / quits. Tried different compatibility modes with no success.

Running Windows 8.1

Need more armors/weapon skins in the store.

The lack of armor skins/weapon skins in the store is kinda disappointing. I’m talking skins on the calibur of the chain sword (perhaps even legendary calibur, I’d be willing to pay real life money for the look alone). Same goes for armor, primevil armor and the other gem store armors are really good looking, which surprises me why there aren’t other good looking armors out there for sale. This is coming from someone who has spent close (if not over) a thousand dollars worth of stuff on league of legends. I would spend big time moolah on “legendary” style skins (obviously without the added bonuses of being a legendary item).
