Guild Wars 2

As in the topic, after i log in the game and choose character my gw2 client stops working (during map loading or after ~20sec after map has been loaded). I’ve already ran gw2 Repair tool and it didn’t help. The problem started after last patch. Any tips how to get rid of this problem? Only in Guild Wars 2 i have this issue, other games runs normal.

Lately i opened some Crystallized Supply Caches and Airship Cargos and i had like 2 Ley Line Sparks after opening 10 Crystallized Supply Caches and the same when opening 10 Airship Cargos (got only 2 Bottles of Airship Oil). Is this a bug after last patch or Anet reduced the drop from it? (I opened a lot more and still this bad drop).

I’m really confused about this (I’m talking about screenshot)… I was in the red team…

Why Anet is taking away Minis from gemstore? Isn’t it better to just leave the old ones and just add the new ones instead of taking them away? It’s always bothering me -.-

They’re not deleted per say. They rotate the items in and out of the gemstore every once in a while. Just keep checking, I’m sure they’ll be back at some point. And be sure to check when they do sales, they tend to bring a couple things back each time.

It was weird, lag, can’t join map, joined the map (after 10 tries) and at the last we couldn’t join Spirit Vale (one of our members didn’t have lag). We had to reset sv…

Why it seems that almost everyone claiming to be in “MMR-hell” doesn’t even have proper keybindings?
I thought it is common-sense that the standart ones are terrible for advanced PvP.

They reached diamond so they did really good. I think he has a Razer Naga where binding 1-0 is reasonable as those skills are a thumb click away. The f1 and such skills on the other hand…

Sorry, most people blame MMR but I say its actually your poor playing styles. Unless you post videos of how you play no one will believe you. Everyone who cries MRRhell think they deserve to be in legendary when they simply don’t.

I said that if you don’t believe me just try it from beggining and lose 5-10 matches ruby and then try to get into diamond div. READ next time, You have to check it by yourself.

I’m really disappointed with this season and the worst thing about it is that we have to pay for Anet mistakes. Plz don’t tell me that you’re fine with this season, that you got into legendary division because You wasn’t in MMRHELL. If You don’t believe me just go to different account and lose 5-10 matches at the beggining in ruby div and than try to get into diamond div, You’ll get what I’m talking about. I’m in diamond for 10 days and still no progress. As far as i could get was tier 2, then i lost it all, never had winstreak since i got into diamond and my winrate is 2 wins in 10 matches. Thanks Anet for destroying game, i hope you’re proud that You’re lying us since the beggining (I’m not talking now about PvP only). It made me hate this game. Time to find something better.

Just never check your retired achievement section if an unfinished achievement would bother you

It will still go to retired achievements, you will not loose any AP (in worst case it will turn invisible on the UI, but the API will still report your progress and you will not loose any AP)

When I have 4/5 completed Exalted Legend achievement, will it be placed in “Retired” achievements or will it just vanish from Achievements? Support suggested to spam here coz they have no idea about it and Dev will answer my question here.

What were the other three classes on your team? Based on what I’m seeing, your team comp must have been pretty bad for them shut your team down like that. This assuming that everyone was reasonably skilled.

We had ele, mes, necro, ranger and guard I think, We had better comp than the opposite team, they just rekt us coz kittenty matchmaking.

OP you’re right but it seems that Anet won’t prove You this because they can’t. I’m right now in MMRHell and i just left match (totally rekt) so my teammates won’t lose any pips (i just got 1pip in diamond). And it’s true that when You have low MMR you’re getting teams like: You’re with randoms (whole team) with the same div as the opposite team (e.g. 3 Diamonds and 2 Ruby and the other team has the same div BUT in the opposite team you have 1 random diamond, 1 diamond with 1 ruby in party AND 1 diamond with 1 ruby in party too (like in screenshot) so in both teams are the same divisions (not always) as in the opposite team but You get randoms with the same div as they have (when the opposite team has premades). The MMRHell is real, I have only 2 wins in 10 matches all the time, most of the time it seems like the opposite team has bigger MMR than Your team (Loosing like 500-200 it’s not ok). This system sucks and they’re giving us sh….it that “it’s improved”.

I really just want to know if it will dissapear or it will be moved to retired achievs (HOPE NOT) coz i don’t want any achiev in middle progress with out any option to complete it later…

I want dev to describe it, if it’s going to dissapear (coz i have 3/5) or retired (it’s even worse) ;s

Hello, I spent almost 2 hours making the points in mine tier from 1 to 4 (i lost 1 or 2 matches) and suddenly SUCH GREAT MATCHMAKING gave us (my team) an opposite team with PREMADES. My team couldn’t do anything, I tried to fight till end but my team just stayed in the base coz it was 300 to 5 for them. After match ended (500 to 5) i lost 2 points (i was 1 point from next tier). Now I have two points in tier, lost almost 2 hours of playing coz of 1 match and I have to spent another 1-2 hours to get next tier. And question to Anet: Is it fair? I’m so angry, that i can say that Anet don’t know how to do things right. They’re destroying this game. The game should satisfy players, still don’t know why they didn’t gave us “single player” rankeds, they really have us in the …..?

The beta achievements can’t be added to your main account anymore than doing daily achievements on your beta characters can be added to your main account. The normal account and the beta account are two separate entities.

Still, accounts are connected I hope they will answer soon…

I hope Anet will not move any achievements to “History” tab when the expansion will be released. (Only connected to beta will be explained)

There is mounts in gem store. The broom and the carpet. If you want more mounts then people should buy them more to show arena net they want them. I don’t see many people use broom or carpet though. So maybe people do not really want gem store mounts. Who is to know?

I wouldn’t call it mounts (broom and the carpet), i would call it toys coz they aren’t give you the speed bonus ;/

Game have almost 3 years and they didn’t do anything about that. Same as achievements from WvW…

So when next expansion will come out I’ll pay again 50$ (or 75$ for deluxe) so price for me (veteran) for all of this will be 150$ (or 225$ for all deluxe) and new players will have to pay only 50$ (or 75$ for deluxe) to have all of it? Or even if they will have to buy two expansions so It will be still not fair (100$ or 150$ for deluxe). Veteran players are less important? Since when veterans have to pay more?

No I don’t think it’s normal. I think it sucks.

But you’re complaining about grind. The real complaint is the achievements are badly balanced. They’ll be a grind though.

Take a look at this article where this guy estimates how long it would take to get this achievement. Now I know achievements are for dedicated players and all, but this is absurd. And that goes for all the “do one million of this” achievements.

I’m not much of a competitive player, but I can see why players get frustrated with insane goals like this.

Do you remember the time, when Guild Wars 2 has to come out and Anet promised that it will be free from grind? I’m really disappointed. I’m talking about all the competitive achievements and i know that i don’t have to do that, but it’s the most interesting thing for me in Guild Wars 2 but CMON! 1,000,000 Caravans Destroyed, 500 Keg recoveries, Eliminate 1000 other survivors etc.? Are you serious? It’s so boring but Anet did nothing about that. Still it’s “free from grind”, but i don’t know if we have been lied about that or Anet thinks that is not grind? As a player and fan of the Guild Wars series, I would like to reduce requirements for achievements, but what i can do? So what do you think about that? It’s good? You wanna grind more? You wanna spend years to achiev your goal? I don’t. Anet please think about that in next patch, because in the previous one where we got “WvW Fall Tournament 2014” was very clever (applause for originator), all achievs in the “Competitve” should be like that. (Sorry for the spelling, I’m not fluent in English)

Everything included in “Living World Season 2” is permanent? I mean achievements, area (map) and weapons (including skins) will stay forever? It won’t be transfered to “Historical” session and i can do “Gates of Maguuma” achievements even after a year? If it is like that, then i’m truly proud of Anet Waiting for fast answers >.>
