So does that mean we get to hear our characters speak again? Correct me if im wrong, but i don’t think if our character spoke in any of the living world stories. I realize it gets complicated when it comes to scheduling appointments for every race, male and female voice actors, but still… sometimes i just feel like my character whom i’ve known from personal story just isn’t there…

It seems like its somewhat of an old problem but im getting blank screen on my bltc. It started after i had to re-install my windows that including GW2 client obviously.

The things i have tried so far:
-Re-logging and restarting the game
-Running the game and browser as an administrator
-Turning off my firewall
-Clearing temp file cache
-Clearing my browser cache
-Running “-repair” command line

Seems like repair gets stuck when there’s about 25k files left and crashes the launcher

Edit: so i re-installed my game and everything is working fine now

So im not much of a lore expert nor am i good theory maker, but i had an interesting thought today. With the new lore instance we were introduced this latest patch [POSSIBLE SPOILER] We found out that Rox has been guaranteed position at Rytlock’s warband only if she kills Scarlet making a big motivation for Rox to bring Scarlet down.

We also been introduced a new character Taimi, a young asuran prodigy who seems fascinated by Scarlet’s knowledge as she stated she tried to meet Scarlet to learn more or perhaps become an apprentice.

This different perception of Scarlet really sparked my imagination since Taimi reminded me that Scarlet knows almost everything and could potentiality be used as a weapon against the elder dragons. So what if… At the end of this chapter we the players get to chose and vote as a whole whether or not we want to keep Scarlet alive and possibly ally with her OR simply execute her for her crimes? You’re probably thinking: “Kill her of course and be done with it!” As far as im aware, execution is not really known method in this game… Can we the players make such decision? Could we eliminate a character who could potentiality be the secret weapon to end the war with the elder dragons once and for all??

I would love to know what you think about my crazy theory

I had the same happened to me and most of the people along at BlackGate overflow. I was guesting from Ehmry Bay.. i wonder if guesting has something to do with it?

It is kinda sad when you think about it… that thief became this PVP only class. When i saw the very first trailers, gameplays and convention footage i immediately fell in love with a thief. It was such a perfect class… everything i ever wanted for a rogue stealthy class in an MMO, but as they nerfed and nerfed it even more to make it less op in PVP and yet almost useless in PVE… i couln’t take it anymore so i switched to warrior

Now don’t get me wrong warrior is fine and is actually fun to play with in PvE, but its just not…… me.

I usually play as thief, but not for PvP advantage. Thief is one of my favorite class mainly because i love shadowy stealth stuff. Constantly growing concern that thief is OP and every balancing attempt made it even difficult to enjoy playing as thief in PvE. Sadly one day i had enough and returned to my warrior, but every day i feel drawn back to my thief as if its the class i am meant to be. It saddens me that i am unable to enjoy this beautiful world ANet put together as a class i always wanted to play…

So am I the only one? Am i the only thief in here who doesn’t care about PvP, and every day struggle to play PvE?

No GTX 550 Ti is my old card i just recently upgraded to GTX 670 and thats the only card im using right now.

I attached my game logs, but im not sure hows that gonna help because my computer just crashes without giving any kind of error. Hope you’ll find the solution soon.

I had this problem before when my PC randomly shuts down while playing, usually after 15 minutes of playing. It seems i had it fixed before when i set my ingame frame rate limit to 60. Until the latest October 1st update came out and i have the same problem all over again except this time setting my frame rate limit to 60 or even 30 doesn’t fix it. I have my drivers fully updated. I never had similar problems with any games that are even more demanding. Its so devastating that i have to deal with this again especially since i don’t have enough time to play GW2 anymore.
