Guild Wars 2

Hi. I recently started playing GW2 again on the EU server “Underworld”. I play during the night from 12AM – 4AM. I’m an Asura, and the starting zone is basically me and all the NPCs, I have been playing for a few hours and haven’t seen a single soul, it’s getting boring to have to do all the events on my own.

So I decided that I could maybe switch to a US sever so that when I’m on at 12-4AM my time, the US is mid-day/evening and hopefully there will be a bunch of people running around doing events. Is this a good idea?

And my secondary question, how do you check your ping? I’m afraid I’ll have high latency on a US server. Does latency even matter in GW2?

TL;DR: I want to switch to US servers since nobody plays on EU when I’m on (12AM-4AM). Good idea or not? Will I lag and not be able to dodge etc.?

Hey there!
I’m new, and I just started a Norn Guardian and finished killing isomir (or whatever his name is) and I did one heart.
Now I have the option to do more “hearts”, or continue to the second part of my main storyline.
What should I do first? I’m used to WoW, so I’m scared that completing the 16 (or so) hearts in the starting area of Norns will outlevel me and render my main storyline quests useless.
How should I be questing?
