Guild Wars 2

So yesterday I was playing unranked spvp and the match I was in wasn’t going well. I didn’t want to play anymore so I left the match and the game (rage quit with less rage) and went on to do something else. Now today as I just logged in and I noticed I had recieved a mail with no subject from an angry player saying: “enjoy your report”.

As far as I know leaving a game isn’t something that’s reportable or against the ToS. It however is not a nice thing so it is punished with dishonor. I didn’t talk during the whole match and I didn’t start any arguments. I just left quietly.

I don’t like the idea of people reporting others under false pretext, like botting, scamming or verbal abuse, just out of spite (which I’m guessing is against the ToS). Does ArenaNet have a program in place for checking whether or not a report is true or not, or have they got employees looking in to these?

In general, I think I’m nice and polite to everyone and I might get one or two mails or whispers like this in a year, but you never know when people get angry. Especially in spvp.
