PvE - Full Venom Build

There is a full venom build for the thief, but it isn’t built for a lot of damage, instead it’s a healing, survivable build. For traits, if you go 30/0/30/10/0 and trait for reduced venom cooldown, extra poison duration, and 1 extra strike for all your poison skills in the deadly arts line. Trait regeneration in stealth, leeching venoms, and heal in stealth in the shadow arts tree. And go for vigor on heal in acrobatics. Run around with full apothecary gear, with superior runes of water. Use pistol/dagger. Equip withdraw, 3 venoms and whatever for your elite. Now you have a supportive, survivable thief, with an insane amount of healing and regeneration and decent conditional damage. Just to give an idea, every second that you’re in stealth, you regenerate about 700 hp (4 seconds of stealth if you wait it out). Every time a venom triggers it’s about 500hp. You have 14 venom triggers (7000hp) every 36 seconds. Keep in mind these numbers are just what I remember from when I tested this in pvp on the npc fighters, they are not completely accurate. I don’t know how viable it would be in pvp, but in pve I can imagine it would be really fun running dungeons, or doing any high-level intense pve with this setup.

I think it’s a great idea, Signet of Malice should heal as a percentage of damage done, including condition damage, instead of a set amount of healing per hit

Thanks you very much for the response. Maybe I’m not seeing it, would it really be that overpowered? Also, yes it’s called infiltrator’s arrow. Infiltration: when an individual or a small group penetrates and area without being noticed or seen. Once again, thank you for the response.

OK, so I have a suggestion for Infiltrator’s Arrow, the thief short bow number 5 skill. At the moment it is merely used as an escape mechanism, since the blind has a very small area of effect and 1 blind isn’t worth 6 initiative. My suggestion is that when a person uses Infiltrator’s Arrow and it hits the target (or rather, an enemy is affected by the aoe), it puts the thief in stealth. This may seem overpowered, because it’s almost like a ranged cloak and dagger, but keep in mind the aoe is very small and your targets are constantly moving (especially in wvw). You would need a lot of practice to correctly use this skill and this would allow more possibilities in terms of short bow builds for the thief (maybe a sort of crowd control build, with the help of Surprise Shot?) Please let me know what you think, and keep in mind that there are things ArenaNet could do to prevent this from being overpowered, like raising the initiative cost or something.
