Thanks you very much for the response. Maybe I’m not seeing it, would it really be that overpowered? Also, yes it’s called infiltrator’s arrow. Infiltration: when an individual or a small group penetrates and area without being noticed or seen. Once again, thank you for the response.
OK, so I have a suggestion for Infiltrator’s Arrow, the thief short bow number 5 skill. At the moment it is merely used as an escape mechanism, since the blind has a very small area of effect and 1 blind isn’t worth 6 initiative. My suggestion is that when a person uses Infiltrator’s Arrow and it hits the target (or rather, an enemy is affected by the aoe), it puts the thief in stealth. This may seem overpowered, because it’s almost like a ranged cloak and dagger, but keep in mind the aoe is very small and your targets are constantly moving (especially in wvw). You would need a lot of practice to correctly use this skill and this would allow more possibilities in terms of short bow builds for the thief (maybe a sort of crowd control build, with the help of Surprise Shot?) Please let me know what you think, and keep in mind that there are things ArenaNet could do to prevent this from being overpowered, like raising the initiative cost or something.
