Could you ask the team if there is any plans for come kind of +7 conversion those of us with infusions that are +5 Stat with +5 AR? I personally haven’t done any new fractals because these were made obsolete with the update and many of us spent to much gold on them way back when they were released to just not use them.

I also want to know the situation with Omni Infusions because this is one of those things that were overlooked.
Great changes for a start, however nothing was mentioned about instability’s and enemy’s doing more damage. I personally hope to see enemy’s doing equally as much damage or more as the old scale 50 pre-HoT at around scale 75-100. Also i do hope to see those promised fine tuned instability s for each scale some day and less copy and paste boon fumbler for like 30+ scales.
You should tell them to look at all the Reddit posts because the community has been in an out roar for past 2 weeks since HoT reguarding fractals and dungeons.

Don’t worry, I’ve passed on all of the relevant reddit and forum threads and will continue to do so. They’re aware that the fractals updates aren’t being received particularly well (with some exceptions). I only commented on this thread in particular because I finally finished my corporate travel and had a chance to log in today (and it’s a good thread!).
You think you could get them to give a statement on the matter at hand? I think i kinda speak for everybody here, we just want to know. Even a vague forum response will put the fractal community at ease that there looking at it or doing something soon. Me personally i’m not a fan of being left in the dark wondering if something is gonna happen or not with no developer response. I’ve been trying to keep my salt level down, but its kinda hard when your most loved content kinda gets what happened to it lol. Anyway thanks Rising Dusk.

I got the intention that the new fractals would all have their own unique instability’s before they were released and personally this affects me way more then the garbage rewards currently. Don’t get me wrong i like gold and ascended chests skins ect, fractals is the sole reason all my weapons and armor are all of the ascended rarity, at the very least i want it back to normal for rewards with slightly better liquid gold and honestly i feel like that isn’t to much to ask. Now i would make a point about the Dungeon liquid gold nerf here too but its unrelated and those people should do their own ranting in another thread. I wanted that feeling of discovery as lame as it may sound to others getting up to scale 100 figuring out best ways to get around the instability’s. I don’t understand what the deal is with the Arena Net Devs being so against the Berserker meta because its honestly a joke to me. Pre-HoT scale 50 Fotm has perfect balance in my opinion because everything came down to player skill in the end, knowing when to dodge enemy attacks, using blinds, stacking in the right areas to lure trash mobs and much more. To me the old fractals was about setting records and having fun with friends its certainly has none of that now at the highest scales. Another thing enemy’s did as much damage or more then what you do to them i loved that it made me feel like i had to really focus and think strategically. Arena Net really need to reconsider what fractals actually are because they are turning them into something they aren’t with this high toughness crap and awful instability’s that literally lets the game play you instead of you playing against it, the inspiration from the new raids mechanics shouldn’t have to much affect with what the fractals are suppose to be.

I want tops to be toggle-able. I have had a concept for a female norn ranger, but her look requires her to not have visible armor up top. trying to run her without a crucial bit of armor as a ranger only goes so far before things get too ouchie under the new system.
Yeah i just find it annoying that i cant make my character look the way i want her to look with out losing vital stats from my footwear. Going for the whole small girl and huge sword look, anime inspired. Being able to hide your top would be pretty awesome too. not to mention changing the color of your underwear would be a plus.
