Guild Wars 2

I have flip-flopped on how I feel about this for a long time.
I’ve flicked out across reddit threads and forum posts, but really, a-net should be offering 2 £35 offers, one for new players, one for existing players. The new players get the core game, existing players get an extra character slot. Nothing else needs changing.

Personally, I don’t care if this happens or not, because i’ll be buying the deluxe in a week or so after my pay-day.

Some more info would be nice though a-net!
How many beta events might we get to see? Next feature presentation? Possible release window? Any info on re-playability of season 1?

I love that you have the ability to work on your games till you’re ready, but you could do with a bit more community fronting.

So… I take it I have to re-do the dungeon?

One of my guild had finished his story long before the rest of us, and wanted to complete the dungeons, so we helped him to defeat Zhaitan weeks ago.

I’ve just finished the main line of my story quest, and I’m now tasked with killing Zhaitan again.

Seriously?

I get that its an important bit of the story, and the way that its all scripted, wouldn’t make sense for Trahearne to be going on and on about killing him after I already had, but surely there should be a trigger outside the dungeon entrance, (or even Fort Trinity or something for that matter, so people who’ve done it don’t have to wait for it to be uncontested to progress), to allow players who’ve already done the task to be awarded the spoils and to be able to finish the story line.

Have I missed something? Will re-entering the dungeon trigger something similar to what I’m already talking about? I really don’t want to have to wait for more guildies to either finish on an alt, or for them to want to just “Re-Do” the dungeon all over again (getting minimal to no reward other than standard drops)…

PLEASE TELL ME THERE’S ANOTHER WAY.
