Sorry Romanus, we’re each entitled to our opinions. The more detail the better is mine; obviously you prefer less.
With all these server transfers happening lately, who cares about the server name and even the guild name anyhow?! Isle of Janthir this week might be entirely different composition next week and this could hold true for guilds also.
I think its similar to pro-sports. Some people might be content to know that its just “Lakers vs. Heat” — but I personally think the rivalry is built around “Kobe vs. LeBron”

Dear OP, THANK YOU! You’ve absolutely nailed it and I’ve been meaning to make this post for a week now.
This game is a giant sandbox for us to create our own community around; our ability to create community centers around rivalry, notary and recognition. The sense of community is being severely hampered by the lack of knowledge about who we’re facing/fighting/dieing to. Hell, we can’t even see who’s claimed a keep?!
Some changes are needed otherwise WvW will continue to be a faceless/nameless entity; guild tags alone are not enough.
My only other complaint about WvW is that the zones are too small. Its too easy to get back to a certain point in relatively short order. This makes the penalty of death somewhat trivial and diminishes the feeling of a keep siege or defense. If death was a bit more penalizing in the sense that it took longer to get back into the action then I think it would enhance the risk/reward of WvW combat.

Agree with the OP x 100.
my 2 cents:
1) Make Server Forums to allow us to better communicate/coordinate with our peers and get a sense of community.
2) Let us know our enemies names! This builds rivalry and further enhances the community. “Oh no, its XYZ again” “that guy always owns me” “I’ll chase that !@#% to the end of the zone to try and kill him/her”.

Commendable efforts Luvpie. Will register on your alliance site so you can keep us in the loop and utilize our guild as needed.
