Wait all of you are disconnecting just from the game or the internet?

I’m glad I’m not the only one if so. All I’ve been able to do lately is work on tradeskills and farming for materials. Anything else just gets frustrating.

I’ve recently come back to GW2 after a year to two year hiatus. I never had any issues before but now I find I disconnect from the internet about twice or more an hour. (since the patch this evening, every 10 minutes)

I’m not talking about a crash or server disconnect, but my actual PC disconnecting from the internet all together! (wireless still works so it’s not the internet itself)

Everything to my knowledge is updated, and my internet never cuts out doing other things. This just happens when I load up GW2 (even the launcher surprisingly).

Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? I know from googling people say it’s lan drivers or router restarts/contacting ISP – but again, this ONLY happens with GW2 and apparently I’m not the only one that’s had this problem. (if you google “GW2 disconnects” ‘from the internet’ is the 4th choice!)
