Yeah… I got pretty annoyed at that checkpoint as well. Randomly dying when you respawn is annoying, but that the cloud checkpoint doesn’t count was just awful.

Hello Everybody

I do not know if this is the actual reason why the Master Of Baubles achievement cannot be obtained. But I’ve spent nearly 4 hours today trying to obtain it without success until I realized that on the last area before the toad boss the trunk that is horizontal in a high level it is supposed to have 5 baubles on top of it however in the latest patch there is only 4 of those baubles.

Even if you collect every other bauble, because of that one missing on top of it the achievement will not be granted.

I have submitted a bug about it with screenshots and all, hopefully this will solve it.

I think you’re right. I’ve watched both dulfys video and another one from this patch… in both of them there’s 5 baubles on that log. but for me there’s only 4. I’ve tried on infantile mode 3 times and normal 1 time and it’s the same on both.
This doesn’t seem to affect everyone.

So a while back i received the “thank you” mail for purchasing gems prior to june 9, 2013 from the GW2 team. In it was a dragon bash mini pack.
Here’s the thing though. I had not played GW2 in a few months so when I got back I decided to roll a thief. So I first saw the mail when I created my character. I opened it and got the items but forgot about it. I didn’t play for a while again. When I got back I had troubles figuring out what race to play so I deleted that thief which was like level 4 or something at the time. I didn’t think I had anything important on a level 4 thief.

To the point:
When I deleted my toon I lost the dragon bash pets, which are now unobtainable as far as I know. I contacted support to ask for help and this is the response I got back(keep in mind that I still have the mail in by inbox, so it wouldn’t be hard to see that I actually got the minis):
“Thank you for contacting the Guild Wars 2 Support Team.

While I would like to replace or restore your Mini Pets lost, the support team is unable to replace individual items for the situation that you have described. Please note, the character deletion process was designed to prevent accidental deletion and asks the player to confirm, by retyping the character’s name, that the deletion is desired and intended, including the items he had at the moment.

Next time you delete a character remember to check every item in it or to transfer all the possible items contained by the character to the bank to prevent this kind of inconvenience."

Really? You are “unable to replace individual items for the situation that you have described”. So you’re able to do it, just not for my situation? I know the confirmation box is there to prevent accidental deletion. But the character was so low level that it didn’t even cross my mind to check.
If it was any other minis I wouldn’t mind. But these cant be obtained anymore, that’s why I’m kind of kitten ed that I cant get help.
Why doesn’t this classify as a situation where you are able to replace lost items?
