NOOB it up - on Black Citadel

Hello, I have been playing Guild Wars 2 for about 2 weeks now and I’ve come across a problem:

It seems everyone I play with is already max level and has explored most of the game. Either that or they’re levelling an alt.

I have been having a hell of a time trying to find other noobs to experience the game with, first hand. This is my first time playing through the game, so it’s a little lame when everyone else in the party is like “oh yeah this is my 10th time killing him” – you know what I mean?

I want to find other players who aren’t interested in power-levelling, and who have yet to find all the answers. That way when we come across something like a jumping puzzle, we’re actually figuring it out right there on our own! Not “oh yeah guys I already know how to do this, just follow me.”

I’m not looking to breeze past the content, I want to be challenged. And to have comrades in the game to experience all of this with. So, here I am creating a guild specifically for NOOBS!

So I started a Raidcall server and just started up a guild.

I will need help recruiting the new players in the various starting zones, so if you’d like to join me and help out in this endeavor, please do! Even if you’re more experienced in the game, I will still need help and officers so contact me if you’re interested. And if you’re looking for something like what I explained earlier in this post, let me know! I’d like to play with you

The name of the guild is “Noob it up” and the Raidcall group ID is 6073451

Hey there, I just started playing this game recently and here’s the problem I am facing:

When I group up with people, they tend to skip cut scenes and generally don’t stop to look at anything cool because

A) They want to level up fast.
B) They’ve been playing the game for awhile

I have a dilemma. On the one hand, I like stopping to take a look at the breathtaking scenery, to listen to the NPC’s talk to one another and I have a desire to learn about the lore in the game (by playing the game).

On the other hand, I get bored playing by myself and like to play with others. (No pun intended).

So what do you guys suggest?
