I would like to change my current email associated with this game to my current email. As i do not like or use the one associated with my guild wars 2 account. The current email is also full of spam. I did email ANET about this but all they did was give me a automated message that had nothing do with my issue.
I need a new build that can play almost all games med/high or Max while recording HD footage using fraps.
I do not mind buying from these places: Frys, Bestbuy, tiger Direct, cyberpowerpc, and maybe Newegg(heard some bad story recently about them).
But I would Prefer buying from Frys Electronics. (since I can pick up the parts myself)
I would like to stick to AMD not that I have any problems with intel just they seem out of my price range. (suggest intel build if price is decent and can do what i need it to do.)
Parts I currently had in mind.

RAM: ???
CDdrive: ??? (any cheap standard one)
HDD: ??? (atleast 1tb hdd or 1tb x2 hdd)
MoBo:
ASUS Sabertooth 990FX AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS $189.99
OR
Asus Crosshair V Formula AM3+ Motherboard – ATX, Socket AM3+, AMD 990FX/SB950, DDR3 2133 MHz (O.C.), SATA III (6Gb/s), RAID, 8-CH Audio, Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0, PCIe 2.0, CrossFireX Ready $239.99
GFX: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7970 OC 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card (11197-01-40G) $399.99
PSU: ???
Case: ???
Can anyone make suggests to my current part list. Im not entirely sure on the mobo either. I do not mind swapping for another gpu as long as its AMD.
also Feel free to suggest a whole new build. I need something that doesn’t go over $900-1100, If its only a few dollars more over my budget suggest it.
(Do not include OS,keyboard, mouse, and monitor)
I will be using Window 7 professional 64 -bit
Please only suggest a build if you actually know what your talking about.

I have the same problem as you “ybrik” when I first heard of this problem. I didn’t think i had it since. I have been playing on other games high/med with 50-60fps no problem. But I can’t play guild wars II. I get about 10-20Fps(in towns i get 8fps) I tried lowering settings but that didn’t help at all. I check my processor and it running at 50-60% when I have guild wars II up and my graphic’s card GPU is maxing out.
I currently tried overclocking the GFX, and re-seating/cleaned my GFX
nothing work sadly I’m stuck with a x1 even though my GFX supports x16 and is in a PCI-E 16×.
NOTE: one problem I had is my cmos utility didn’t have some of these features listed so I couldn’t try most of them as fixes.
